Love the design, not the noise

I have had this just about a month now. I love the design, the space in both the fridge and freezer. However, it has a loud noise to it, like the compressor is revving up. It seems to have periodically throughout the day. My other issue is that the ice maker drops both whole cubes and broken cubes when the whole cube option is selected. Cubes are also white not clear but I read that is too be expected as it is making ice rapidly. Sometimes cubes seem a little
"watery" at times. Veggies and fruits seem to stay fresh longer and I love the deli area. I keep it on the lowest setting to keep meats fresh longer.

We are on our second one and know they want us to try "one more time", not sure I'm willing to do that. Ice maker doesn't work, crushed and cubes continuously . Water dripping from water dispenser and ice machine. Also condensation all over ice maker and seals on doors.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really needed to replace a 14 year old side by side. Once I saw this refrigerator, I was in love. I didn't need a large freezer since I have a stand up freezer in my basement. This refrigerator is large and having the smaller bottom section as a fridge is very useful for me.
It is HUGE! Sometimes I feel that we don't have a enough food in the fridge for my family of 6. I can keep 3 gallons of milk at a time in here.
Pros: Bright display, storage space!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This fridge is large and incredibly cool looking

I love my fridge. I love the LED lights and the energy saver feature for power consumption it really helps. Also it really has a lot if space. I love the fact I can have a freezer/fridge option on the bottom right. We rarely use the 2nd freezer to maximum space we just have pizza boxes ice cream and maybe some frozen meals. But the extra fridge compartment is great. The fridges design is sleek and looks amazing. I always get compliments from my friends and family. The ice maker although I am not to fond of at the moment. It some how got stuck on mine and I have to get someone to fix it. It's not frozen it just stuck. The release lever seems to not release the ice box. It won't come out. Hopefully samsung fixes this on the newer model. Love the fresh door look also. But overall this is a great fridge and recommend this model.

I really like my fridge. I have no complaints. I haven't had is even for a full year but I would recommend this model. The space is great going from a side by side to this I feel like the space is great? The freezer has a lot of storage as well. The chime to say the door has been left open has saved us many times!! Really a great fridge.... Oh the fact that it looks like stainless but isn't is the best part! No stains and you can use magnets. Cleans like a dream.

Going from a side by side refrigerator to the French door model is like getting another half of a refrigerator. We buy 25 pounds of carrots for our dogs each week and it left very little room in the side by side model. We can get the bag in lengthwise in our Samsung refrigerator and have loads of room left.
The only possible glitch was when the power went out and the temperature display showed the temp rising very quickly. This may not be an issue, the refrigerator is very new and we will keep an eye on the readout.

Very Pleased So Far

After a recent experience having to return 2 french door bottom freezer refrigerators: the first due to frost buildup and the second sounded like a dryer running in our kitchen (very loud), we decided to try another brand. Besides something that looks good, we wanted a quiet refrigerator that makes enough ice. Some of the reviews I read had me wary, but there are no refrigerators on the market without negative reviews, so we had to make a choice. It was a challenge getting it in the house. The delivery men had to remove the doors to get it through our 35" wide sliding glass door. After re-assembling the unit, I was pleased to find that it fit perfectly in our 6 foot opening.
QUIET:
After hooking up the water and turning it on, the unit started cooling. Within a couple of hours, both the refrigerator and freezer sections had reached the temperature we chose (37 and -4) and the unit got VERY quiet. This is the quietest refrigerator I've owned, which pleased us tremendously after having the loudest refrigerator ever sitting in our kitchen for about a week.

Cool Select Zone:
We're using this section as additional freezer space for now, but knowing that we can convert this to space for fruits and vegetables or drinks is very convenient. I would have liked to be able to set the temperature rather than having only 4 choices, but this is more flexibility than any other refrigerator I've researched. This will come in handy for entertaining for sure.

I plan to update this review 6 months from now (or if we are unfortunate enough to experience problems sooner). If it keeps working like it does now, this refrigerator is a definite winner.
