Love this fridge!

Our old fridge died, and we needed to replace it quickly. At the Sears outlet I found this marvelous fridge, with the perfect ice and water dispenser on the outside, and a wonderful layout inside. The French doors are a million times better than the side-by-side we used to have. I love seeing fruits and vegetables at eye level, the long drawer at the bottom, which we use for cheese, and the ease of use of the bottom freezer. My husband is thrilled that there's so much room inside, and that we can see everything - no more rotting food in the back. We've only had it for a couple of months, but absolutely no complaints so far!

Horrible refrigerator

I have had this refrigerator for a little over 2 years and have had nothing but issues. Once I hit the 1 year mark my freezer and refrigerator stopped working. It took over a month for the issue to be resolved. The replaced all the inexpensive parts before they could actually identify it. I had to wait for parts to come in which was a total inconvenience. I was out of a refrigerator for over a week. I am thankful I bought the warranty through the vendor because I was told that the part to be replaced cost more than the refrigerator was worth (I believe it was my cooling unit). I've now encountered an issue with my ice maker that is in the process of being fixed.
I cannot stand that when you want ice and use the ice maker it drop water into your glass first, not ice. So instead of just ice you have a combination of water and ice which is annoying because I now have a watered down version of my drink. The maker then leaks because some of the ice sits in the maker and upon melting drips. There is no catch basic for it to pool into so it sits on the ledge until you open the refrigerator door and the water spills onto the floor.
I regret making this purchase and would never buy another Samsung appliance. I would stay away and buy from a company that has more experience with appliances.
Also I have a bubble on the seam of my freezer. I have no idea how the damage could have happened but there is no realistic cause other than someone would have needed to take a screw driver to the seam and pull it apart. I think it has to do with the leaking from the ice maker as it's located directly below but have no way of proving it.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've been waiting a long time to upgrade our Fridge and this was our choice due it offering all the amenities that we wanted. We are budget minded shoppers and it fit within ours perfectly without leaving any feature out that we wanted. Satisfied customers.

Bought this as part of kitchen remodel package. Highly recommend. Has plenty of space and ice maker takes up almost no room but holds a surprisingly large amount of ice. The auto close freezer door makes it a must have.

We have only had our fridge for a week but so far so good. The ice/water dispenser seems to leave a little more water in the dispensing area than normal but we are still trying to figure things out.
Pros: Bright display, great space

Just got this fridge installed 3 days ago so not a lot of history yet, but love it so far...brightness of the interior with the LED lighting is great, interior layout works very well for us (one of the reasons we chose it), water and ice are good so far (water flows a little slowly but that is the same with most other models we looked at as well), footprint is exactly what we needed for the size we had available, and it is quiet (except when the ice tumbles into the ice tray which is to be expected). Not the cheapest on the market, but comparable. Only time will tell on the durability and reliability. Just kicked a 20+ year old White-Westinghouse to the curb. Expecting the same out of this one!
