Beautiful Refrigerator!!
on April 27, 2021

This is aesthetically pleasing in any kitchen. We like the way it looks a lot. A couple odd/irritating things: The icemaker sounds like it hurls the ice cubes into the bin (sometimes waking us up) and the bottom freezer door is extremely heavy, even when empty.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very Disappointed

As most other reviewers of this refrigerator have experienced: * I have to mop up water from under the bottom drawer daily (apparently from drain line freezing up) * I have had to replace the ice maker 3 times due to complete failure * The freezer has stopped working now All of the above issues are repeated over and over throughout all of the reviews. I would have expected GE to have addressed these issues by now; but, apparently they have not...except an apology in each reply.

Lots of problems with ice maker and display on the door. Nothing works. Near impossible to find replacement parts and owner manual does not address issue.

Terrible product.

This fridge failed in all capacity. It freezes in the refrigerator, then it melts and drips into the freezer. Bonus for the water system failing and not really being able to be repaired. Luckily I purchased this for way less than retail when new.

Great Fridge, only 1 flaw!

Comparing this older fridge from the 2010s, it is much better than fridges for today. Even though it has a smaller cubic foot listed interior, it is has a lot more space than a 27 cft fridge today, because the icemaker is pushed to the back of the fridge, as is the filter. Todays fridges with front filters and ice makers hog up the door space, leaving you with less space, and new fridges have a shallower interior depth. Yes, this fridge leaks water onto the deli tray, freezes, then you have to spatula it out, or call for repair. The drip tray at the back of the fridge behind a panel freezes and clogs, causing water that would normally drip out the back to the evaporation tray to get clogged, and overflow.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We started having issues with this frig when it was 2 years old. Fan started making a weird sound, we were told to unplug it for 24 hours. Then ice started to build up on back wall and under deli drawer. Completely dissatisfied, will not buy anymore GE appliances.

The worst refrigerator we ever bought. The one it replaced is still going strong out in the garage.
