Four years old and water collecting and freezing on bottom of refrigerator section.

Bought the refrigerator new, after four years it is collecting water that freezes under the deli drawer. Suspect it's the water reservoir leaking. Also had frost buildup in freezer that I had to manually defrost. This was an expensive unit and for the money paid should have lasted a lot longer than four years. If what the other reviewers are saying is true (this very common problem of water collection in refrigerator bottom is not repairable) then this is truly a bad product.

Horrible money pit

This things has had issues from the start! It leaks water into the frig and the ice maker stopped working- hundreds to fix!

Love the layout of this fridge!

I bought this in 2010 and it still works great. Love the water filter feature that changes color when it needs to be replaced. Only downside is the deli drawer can freeze up after water accumulates under the drawer. This happens when the doors are left open too long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice looking unit, but within the first 6 months ice maker had to be replaced. Water dispenser slows after about a month or two. Had water checked its fine and so is water pressure. It is my understnding that the filters were defective. Just turned two years old and now the whole unit is being replaced.The temperture in my freezer as I write this is 57 degrees.
Loved it when I bought it, but that love has faded.

Best refrigerator ever invested in!

Purchased in 2010 and still going strong! Had to replace a couple of things here and there and even had to defrost a drain hose, but still looks and cools perfectly. Too bad it is not manufactured any more as I would have loved to purchase the same exact model for my other property.

Beeping issue

After only 5 years it started beeping for no reason, and periodically still does. Then last night it started beeping and it wouldn’t stop, keeps going into “e” saver mode, defrosted my freezer, had to take everything out. It’s only approx 7 years old. very disappointed.

ICE MAKER NEVER WORKED SINCE DAY 1

GE was discontinuing this product when we bought it. We bought it anyway. HUGE mistake. Now I know why they are discontinuing it. The ice maker never worked at all since Day 1. We had the ice maker replaced by GE Service. Still never worked. Plus the repair guy basically lied to me when I asked him flat out if the ice maker is a problem and he said he hasn't repaired or replaced many. Yeah right. The salesman didn't warn us about the ice maker either. Didn't read the reviews on here first. The store we bought it at is taking the refrigerator back and letting us pick out a new one with full credit. It's ashame because I love the rest of the refrigerator, but I feel that it's a LEMON model.
