I'VE HAD MY PHONE A LITTLE OVER 2 YEARS. I AM IN THE GOLDEN YEARS. THIS PHONE IS JUST RIGHT FOR ME. I MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS, TEXT, ALARM, CALENDER, TAKE PHOTOS. I'VE DONE ALL OF THOSE. THATS WHAT I SAID, THIS PHONE IS JUST RIGHT FOR ME

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess its obsolete now. It was great while it was supported. I no longer receive updates and it does not support all the new stuff. All I can do is talk & text. I got this phone in 2013. It has lasted a long time. I also have an LG Vista vs880 and it is also obsolete and doesn't get updates. Its also in a bootloop that i cant get out of because of lack of support. I am not connected to a phone service on that one. But it also receives no updates or support. I love the product it last forever but the support & updates suck. I would still be using if there was some support. I am not one to change my phone whenever a new product comes out especially if I like what I have.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Texting Phone

This phone is perfect for someone who loves to text. It has a nice 1.3 megapixal camera that takes crisp photos, and a fully functional music player. The qwerty keypad has slightly raised keys so texting feels comfortable and natural. A great phone for those who are looking for something simple yet practical.

I had one of these for years, but lost it last summer. Now Verizon won't support it. Tried getting a new one and switching to Red Pocket, but they no longer activate phones without a SIM card. So disappointing. I understand that many people want smart phones, but for those of us that just want to talk & text (with a QWERTY keyboard), it seems we're running out of options. Any chance LG can make this phone with a SIM?

Very easy to operate ... texting is a breeze ... call clarity is excellent! My business is about 90% call generated and this phone is just right ... not complicated!

The slide-out keyboard makes texting, entering information into your Contacts, etc. easy. I like the Contacts I.C.E. feature (In case of emergency) and personal info screen. Since I have medical issues, that's reassuring. I do not have a data plan, which means that when I want some peace and quiet, I don't have to worry about getting e-mails or being tempted to surf the web in bed, as some of my friends do!
Love the camera and having it with me all the time. The keys are rather small, but I press them with my nails, and that works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my phone for at least 4 years and this is the style that works best for this old guy. Buttons are better than swipe phones. My phone has survived a trip thru the washing machine and a battery that failed and overheated. The Cosmos needs to return because of the 4 row keypad and ease of use by people that do not want an internet phone or a flop phone that you have to hit a key 3 times to get the correct letter
