Please bring back the Cosmo

I bought this phone many years ago. It is the perfect phone for texting and calls. Some people just want a simple phone. Conversation starter for sure. The dimensions were perfect. This is the phone I want my children to use. No internet, just like when I was a kid. Please bring back so it can connect to the 4g and 5G world. If you have any in stock I will buy 3.

Good phone except that it cuts out during talk and you can't hear on it some times.

Awesome for what I need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is excellent for my life style and the area I live in. I work on our family ranch and am constantly away from the houses checking and working with the animals. This simple little phone picks up and keeps service much better than the "better smart phones." The camera is a bit disappointing but I love the slide out key board. The phone is compact and not bulky like the newer phones so it doesn't get in my way and I am not as worried about breaking it. One less thing to worry about, these phones are meant to last. I am on my second one but not because the other broke, I lost it moving cattle. But I highly recommend this phone and am totally bummed that they have been discontinued! Bring it back, it works great when the fancier ones have trouble finding service! When I am miles away from the house and have an emergency this phone has not let me down!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Impossible to kill

I've had all three Cosmos, although I recently upgraded to a G4, and I must say, they are great little robust phones. I've actually attempted to purposely kill this phone on multiple occasions, doing things such as throwing it across the room when I got mad, dropping it countless times, running it in a thermal chamber from -50c to 100c, vibrating it on a vibe table, and it just kept chugging along (Only thing I didn't do was drop it in the toilet).
The only real qualms I have are that this phone is way too basic for a 25 year old guy with an active social life, and compared to the first Cosmos, the keyboard is a little lackluster. If you're looking for a good, cheap (Free with plan), simple rugged phone with a full keyboard, this is the phone to have.

So Ready to Get a New Phone!

I am not the type of person that has to have a smart phone. I actually like basic phones, but this one is the worst out of all of the basic phones I've had! There is a delay when going through the icons on the menu. The darn thing cannot hold many text messages AT ALL!! It seems like I'm having to erase old texts to get new ones every other week. The keys on the front of my phone wore out very quickly to the point where I had to just about break my finger to get the button to work. The graphics are not good quality.
So what is good about this phone? My phone take pretty good motion pictures, meaning it is okay if the subject is not standing still. Also the fact that you can go to tools and info search and search for deleted messages, etc. Lastly, what is good are the voice commands. But there are many other phones with these features.

Better than the modern ones

I got this phone back in high-school about 5 years ago, and it still works to this day. It's better new phones being made today, as this one was made to last a long time. I would have given it 5 stars; if it had more ways to unlock the password when you forget the phone number (I could factory reset it, but I don't want to lose any pictures I have on it).
I would recommend this to a friend!

This phone is very unreliable when calling. When I call people there is an echo on my side and it constantly drops calls.
