this will be one of the greatest games to come out this year. It will even better than COD4.
What's great about it: everything

This game is awful

The fact this takes place during WWI sucks. This game is awful do not buy. I went back to COD 4.
What's great about it: GOOR and blood
What's not so great: Graphics, time-line game takes place in, online gaming glitches
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This game is very unresponsive example i walked up behind somebody camping, unloaded into their back with an entire clip after attempting to stab them and they turned around and shot me once and i died. also after playing COD4 the guns in this are terrible and feel like bb guns compared to the M4 and 50 cal. another thing that irritated me was the grenades in the campaign. I believe the other reviewers went more into depth with it but its true. and in multiplayer dogs are practically invincible until they're an arms length away. I was very dissapointed in Treyarch and i want infinity ward to make the next one.
What's great about it: Well legs can get blown off which was the only entertainment
What's not so great: doesn't live up to COD4
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

whats more to say then the worst game i have ever played? multiplayer is at best god awful, the rest is at best the worst ever put onto a disk and sold at a store. LISTEN to me buy call of duty 1 before you buy this game! dont waist your time and money on such a pointless disk that Activision calls a video game. if you are a true xbox live fan and like old world war games, and have purchased everyother world war game then still dont get it! the online i guess, was at least playable for 30 minutes which is better than the hour i wasted on the story mode, plzzzzzz do not buy this game! get gears 2 fallout 3 or GTA 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's great about it: NOTHING, biggest dissapointment of the year. one good thing the day you return it to the store and get your cash back!

Call of Duty has taken a step back with this upcoming release. This title won't make game of the year as COD4 will still be the title I go back to play. Step it up!What happened to the 16 player online team vs challenges. Why not step into the future rather than go back to World War II??? This smells alot like COD2 and 3.

What's not so great: 4 player online World War II

Trust me don't waste your money if you don't have COD4 get that. Or wait til Modern Warfare 2 comes out. Treyarch is a horrible game developer pure second rate developer. Keep the money in your pocket and don't waste it.
What's great about it: Great that I only paid 30 bucks for it for an after Christmas sale
What's not so great: Basicly everthing Treyarch is a horrible game producer I hope Call of Duty drops Treyarch

Hmm. Seems the same problem I had with call of duty 4 persists in COD5. The problem is that, you die instantly. Lets see, you die from 1 shot from an ordinary weapon like a rifle, long range. That's so dumb, that means, this game will just be all camping, and whoever see's the other person first gets the kill. This means its a no-skill game, and not worth paying for. I don't know how many people play with their volume up on their tv, obviously most, but your not going to want to with this game. Every few seconds their will be screeching and VERY ANNOYING mortars. You can also expect to get spawn-killed, over and over and over, another thing they didn't correct when I am sure its possible to correct, if only they would spawn you in a safe area. Another thing that's stupid about it is, theirs no more helicopter when you get 5 kills in a row, instead, you just gain the ability to release dogs, that more then half the time don't even attack anyone, they run in circles and glitch to walls. The makers of this game really embarrassed themselves with this one, don't know why people are rating it good, maybe they haven't played the beta yet. Anyways, I wouldn't recommend buying this at all, unless your just doing it for more gamer-score points rather then having fun.
What's great about it: The graphics are decent, better then most games.
What's not so great: alot of things.... listed below

COD - World At War

Disappointing.
First off, it's only 1 to 4 players online. COD4 was great because of the amount of players you can fight with and against online.
Second, they went back to WWII settings. After the first half a dozen COD's were released, they finally ventured into the modernized warfare with COD4. Now they are going back to WWII?
This game will not beat out COD4. Perhaps initially people will buy it because of the success COD4 has had, but once they begin playing it and see for themselves how the COD franchise has ruined the progress they made with COD4, they will trade in their game quickly.
What's great about it: Another addition to the legacy of the Call Of Duty series
What's not so great: Everything else
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
