Anyone that has compared this game to GoW2 and said that it is better is more than likely to be under the age of 12. Also, the graphics are pretty amazing so anyone that has said the graphics are not good DEFINITELY needs to buy a new TV. Overall, this game is good....not the best....but for sure it is a good buy. If you like the movie "Saving Private Ryan" you will enjoy playing this game....its amazing how i got the feeling of actually "playing" the movie at times during this game. Of course, I always rent a game before i buy it.....just to make sure it is for me.....
What's great about it: graphics, options, online
What's not so great: online spawning, im a sucker for technology ....so the weapons(but this is WW2 remember!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game like the one before it was great and deserves a Game of Year title. I like how you can do 2 player co-op but would be better to have 4 players. You can have 4 player co-op if you have an online account and do t that way. The maps are great and also the guns. A nice added thing is a flamethrower and ability to use tanks. Online is also good and the modes are the same as in Call of Duty 4. Also you can revive people in this game. Great game but I would wait til it goes down a bit.
What's great about it: Great Graphics,Co-op campaign,Nice Storyline.
What's not so great: Not the best price for this game, make it 4 player campaign and to have guest online.
I would recommend this to a friend!

ALRIGHT. THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES MADE FOR XBOX. THO SINCE THE GAME JUST CAME OUT THERE ARE A FEW PROBLEMS BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY THIS OVER COD4. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH COD4, BUT CoD: WORLD AT WAR, IS JUST COD4 WITH MORE ADDITIONS. ALTHO THE BOUNDARIES SUCK, LIKE IF THERES A LITTLE ROCK, U HAVE TO GO AROUND IT WHERE AS IN ANY OTHER GAME U COULD JUST GO THREW IT. THE MELLEE IN THIS GAME IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE ONE IN COD4. IN COD4 IT WAS A KILL NO MATTER WHAT, IN COD5 U HAVE TO BE RIGHT ON IN HITTING THE GUY U WANNA KILL. THE GAME WAS BASED OFF THE ENGINE OF COD4 SO U KNOW ITS JUST AS GOOD EVEN THO TREY ARCHE HAS MADE SOME STINKERS IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. THE GRAPHICS WERE MY MAIN DISAPPOINTMENT. I THOUGHT IT WAS EITHER GOING TO BE THE SAME OR BETTER THAN COD4, IT WASNT. NOT THAT THE GRAPHICS ARE EQUIVALENT TO PLAYSTATION 1 GRAPHICS, BUT THEY'RE A TAD WORSE THAN COD3'S GRAPHICS. OTHER THAN THAT ITS A LOAD OF FUN ESPECIALLY WHEN PLAYING WITH 3 OF YOUR FRIENDS IN A FREE FOR ALL PRIVATE MATCH. HAVE FUN!!
What's great about it: FUN, CAMPAIGN IS AWESOME, MATCHMAKING ALWAYS FUN. ZOMBIES

After becoming addicted to CoD 4, I was really looking forward to WaW's release but after playing it, I have to say that this game is one of the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENTS this year. The Game feels and looks like CoD 2 with a new Map Pack (Even some of the Cut-scenes are similar.)
Maybe we were spoiled with Modern Warfare's present-day (although fictional) storyline but the campaign could hold your interest and the on-line play was/is fantastic.
The addition of a Co-op campaign was a great idea but it hardly makes up for WaW's downfalls (i.e. poor level design, repetitive AI and ever-respawning, checkpoint managed enemies.)
Activision must have been overwhelmed with this project... It seems they were unable to capitalize on the phenom that Infinity Ward created and instead attempted a safe retreat to the game's roots.
What's great about it: It's good if your looking to just pass some time...
What's not so great: WWII... Again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a must get game for any FPS fan. The single player campaign, though short, is fun and brings new missions to the table. Whether its blowing up stuff in a tank , sniping an enemy official, or shooting down zeros in another mission this game has it all. Also, you must play this game online because it brings a whole new level of fun to the equation.
What's great about it: Multiplayer Tanks, Storyline, 4 player CO-OP.
What's not so great: short storyline
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has to be the best gane for xbox cause its fun, aswome, and the graphics are unbelivable i would buy this game also the story line is very good unlike most games the wepons are easy to use and up to date from back then and u also get to drive awsome vehicles so ive shared my knowledge and if u dont believe me try it urself youll be amazed!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's great about it: The missions, graphics, storyline, And much,much,more
What's not so great: The controls could be better but really notihng tht bad in the game.

Call of Duty World at War is a great game for the fact that it has co-op and they went back to World War 2 which in my opion is the only war that should be made into a game. They developers could of taken more time to refine the online to make it better. Overall the game is great. Anyone who likes World War 2 should buy this game
What's great about it: Finially has Co-op
What's not so great: The online could be better
