i bought call of duty 4 and it was great. i bought this game and it was great. it brings you back into a world war2 experience. when i heard of this game i was thinking"oh know not another ww2 game. then when i played it it was so fun. allthough i would perfer cod4 but they are almost neck and neck. For kids that can only play E and T games you can turn off the blood and gore and the language. it was worth every penny and i wouldhighly recommened it.
What's great about it: the extra level and the coop campain

Just like cod4 online, but with new weapons, perks, and added tanks.
I was worried about it being WWII era, but the iron sights work suprisingly well, and they still have unlockable dot sights (aperature sights), scopes, silencers(flash hiders/supressors), and the new addition of bayonetts.
Best features of cod waw: No learning curve if you've played cod4, don't have to start at the bottom Flamethrower perk Molotovs and sticky grenades Packs of attack dogs instead of attack chopper Splitscreen/online co-op play The use of Tanks return to the COD series
What's great about it: Puts a great spin on the familiar and always fun COD4 online play.

Overall its a great game, but it doesn't do much for me since I already spent fifty bucks buying COD4 and it felt like I just spent another fifty for the same game. I have to admit the campaign was extremely fun, although I thought it copied all of COD4 that there would be some awesome stealth mission, but the game fails again without that addition. If you have COD4 I would just stick with that for another year, but if not I would recommend you buy this game due to the fact its cheaper than Modern Warfare.
What's great about it: New Campaign along with Co-op and Scoring
What's not so great: Same multiplayer, but with par maps

Another addition to the series, Call of Duty: WaW has much more to add to its predecessors. More perks, including Flak Jacket (reduces explosion damage inflicted upon you), Bouncing Betties (like claymores, but a circular blast radius) and many more. Also, there are a ton more weapons to choose from, including a flamethrower. Being an avid Call of Duty 4 player, I had trouble adjusting to WaW; there were many more semi-automatic guns (one bullet each trigger press). However, I have found that WaW has bigger maps, therefore there are more places to hide, as opposed to COD4, where there were only 3-4 places to watch an area of the map. Also, there are 65 levels until prestige instead of 55.
What's great about it: More Realistic, More Weapons, Bigger Maps, More Perks, Co-op, Zombies Game Mode
What's not so great: Single Player could be better
