The story mode for this game is great...though a little short. The best part is the zombie mode. The only bad thing is the online isn't as good as cod4, and the tanks online just ruin it.
What's great about it: Graphics, Zombie Mode, Body Parts Come Off :)
What's not so great: Online is a step down from cod4
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think this game would be better if it didn't come out after Modern Warfare. COD 4 is such an amazing game that anything the makers could have put out after it would have gotten lower reviews than it diserved. Overall I'd say this game is ok and maybe worth buying if you'd much rather play during WWII than modern times. But sinse both games are the same price, I would definately recommend Modern Warfare over this game
What's great about it: I've always found WWII interesting so I like how it is set during WWII, online play is good.
What's not so great: Graphics are not that great, controler responsiveness is not crisp like COD 4.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great CoD game yet

I've played the other CoD games so when this one came out I thought why not try it? So I bought it and it was worth every penny. Everything about it is great, I think this campaign in this game is better than the others. Your able to play as both the Russian army and the American. I think the Russian campaign is the best though. If your reading this review to see if this game will be good go out and buy it ASAP you won't regret it.
What's great about it: the action in it is great especially the campaign mode. i would extremely recomend this game to anybody.
What's not so great: nothing really bad about it but the graphics could be better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i really enjoy the cod series, but treyarch hasn't made very good ones. cod 3 was a disaster. infinity ward made cod 4 and is the best one yet. WWII games got boring when cod 4 came out, and cod waw made it worse. the best part is zombies.
What's great about it: killing zombies
What's not so great: treyarch made it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

not as good as COD4 if ur a online type of gal/guy dont get this...if ur a cod fan get it
What's great about it: online...solo camp is fun
What's not so great: the blood isn't relistic...not as ADDICTIVE as COD4...veteran dificulty is very tuff

World at War is a fun game for quite a while ... but to be honest the main reason that it has lasted so long is because of Zombies mode.
What's great about it: Call of Duty always comes out with good multiplayer games
What's not so great: Treyarch always takes Infinity Ward's games back 2 steps
I would recommend this to a friend!

1st is the online muiltiplayer with over 15 maps to play from each there is also a restriction on there if you want to have it gore and bloody with strong language but you could turn it on and it would be better for young children online may or could cause some foul language from other players. This is one of my first games I've gotten before i got a new one and once you level up to 65 you can go to prestige mode and start all over but you lose all of your weapons and you will notice your icon from the right will change to many other types of stars (RANKS) the higher you are the other people will know the better you are. So if your looking for a game this is the #1 game of my opinion you should buy it.
What's great about it: active shooting game
I would recommend this to a friend!

Definitely a great game. A lot of blood splattering around, but if you're ok with that its definitely a good game. Compared to CoD4:Modern Warfare, its definitely a step up in terms of graphics and level of detail.
Definitely worth checking out.
What's great about it: Graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: gore
