i have only had this phone for 3 months and it acts up horribly....the screen flickers and it wont respond to my touch....

I've had this phone for only 3 months and already I've wanted to stick it in the garbage disposal at least a half dozen times. I text a lot and this phone has a habit of sending my texts before I am even ready to 'send' and I have no 'cancel,' button. It's also easy to send your texts to the wrong recipient. If I receive a call, sometimes phone answers before I know who's calling. Yes, I've checked all of the settings that I want. Lousy ring tones and alerts also. There are other issues but these are the most troublesome to me. I've had a prepaid account for almost 5 years and I bought this phone because I couldn't find a decent prepaid phone with a camera flash and LG makes a great phone. This time I'm disappointed.

This phone is a great buy it was affordable and it has proven to be reliable as well . The only drawback was that it did give me an error message on start up. I do believe it was my own doing that caused it but they sent me a new one right away without any questions. Great customer service along with it.

Does not perform to expected standards. Poor batter life. Slow processor. Still using 4.0 platform. When will it be updated? Exceed 2 has update. Android users should ALL be able to update OS when new versions are released.

Excellent phone, does everything I need it too. I have dropped it many times with no damage. The camera even takes good pictures. The battery does get hot and I do have to charge it often, but I would definitely recommend this phone!

The Optimus Exceed is an excellent android device for a user of any level. It's crisp 4.0 inch HD display rests behind a durable gorilla glass touchscreen that is highly responsive. A charge can last me a full day with normal usage. It has the 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, massive 8GB internal storage, a speedy 1.2 mhz dual-core processor, a 5.0 MP rear-facing camera that is capable of recording brilliant HD videos, and a front facing vga camera that has a quality that is extremely high for its resolution. Highly recommended and a great option.

Overall...a good phone..battery runs down quick

Have had this phone for about 5 days. Works great. Sleek design. My concern is that the battery runs down very quickly....like going from 100% to high 50% in one hour on Facebook. Battery also gets very hot when in use. Would love to hear other feedback on the battery issues, and possible solutions.
