worked great for a few months

I bought this in March 2015. Our installer had a very difficult time installing. After that all worked well for a few months. We started to notice that the dishes were not clean on the short cycle, left over soap in bottom of dishwasher, dirty dishes. So we started using the long cycle exclusively. Also the short cycle had a heavy soap smell and plastic smell. We had to rinse all the glasses to use them.
Then our washer got so noisy!! I mean, really noisy. We called for repair. Our local repair man determined by the symptoms we needed a water pump and ordered one. Used it again and water started to pour out on the floor. So we stopped using it, but when emptying the washer to hand wash the dishes, saw that the heating element had burned a gigantic hole in the plastic bottom of the washer.
Now we have to wait for the local repair guy to look at it, determine the problem (!!!) before we can replace the washer.
Boo. Major disappointment. I will never order a plastic interior again. Tried to save a bit. Stainless all the way.
We will see how this ultimately gets resolved.

Very basic

I've had this for several months. Very basic functions. Cleans okay but not great. Won't wash off caked on food residue so you have to pre-wash. The drying function isn't great, either. I have softened water but even with rinse aid there is sometimes a residue on my clean dishes - it will wipe off but it's annoying to have to do so every time. Moisture collects frequently inside the machine, between washes. I had a repair person stop by to make sure it was working correctly but he found nothing wrong. The noise level during wash is mid-range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does not dry well at all

Washes my dishes just fine but If I leave dishes in there for a couple days it starts to smell because it does not dry well at all. There is always moisture and water beads on the dishes.

Loud and have already had to have it serviced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit in February and have had to have it serviced and was without a dishwasher for about 3 weeks. The user interface circuit boards got fried due to power outage and it doesn't have an inline fuse to protect it. Just before that happened it started leaking because of a poorly designed sensor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The design is lacking

I bought this machine for my daughter. It washes fine, but the air dry is a disaster. The machine simply stops after the rinse. There is no venting to allow the moist air in the machine to get out, and no fan to circulate air over the dishes. Moisture builds up and they need to be towel dried. If the dishes set in the machine overnight mold builds up on the dishes and they smell. This machine is a deficient design.

Gosh! B9999, the best drying performance will occur when using either heat or the Sahara™ dry options. When the “Air Dry” option is selected, the heater is turned off during the drying phase of the wash cycle. This feature saves energy and shortens the cycle time, but the drying performance will be affected, resulting in dishes still being wet at the end of the cycle. Make sure you are using rinse aid, you can even increase the amount dispensed to help with drying (page 13 in your Owner’s Manual shows how). Opening the door when the air dry cycle is completed will help to dissipate the moisture. If this hasn’t helped, please reconnect with us directly for assistance. We are here for you. Little things matter

I'm glad that we went with the better dishwasher than we were originally going to buy. Little things like to half rack for lids, being able to the tines in the front of the dishwasher to accommodate bigger items( in our case bigger bowls),& larger compartment for silverware. These things add up to make it worth the extra money.

We are concerned about a dent in the middle of the inside of the door making it look like it was used and maybe even refurbished and sold as new. It also do not seem to dry the dishes as well as the previous GE we had. There are two yellow tabs sticking out at the bottom sides of the main unit that seem suspicious. The drying concern is on the door and not the dishes.
