Not what I expected

I had the unit for 6 months and the fan started screaming. It was covered under warranty but I did not expect the early repair

Bought this a few months ago. Within 2 days the Halogen bulb went. These are not cheap. More than the $ it was annoying. It works fine.. Hubby does not like the hard switch to turn the fan off.. it makes a loud click.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently this is the third installed. The first had the latch broken, the second that came had the same problem and had difficulty fitting in the 30" opening. The lights are terrible, they are halogen, extremely hot and energy deficient. I replaced them with LED lights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fell apart quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Within a few months of purchasing this range hood, the buttons for control of the fan fell into the range hood cover! The halogen lights provide fantastic bright light but are very difficult to remove and replace. We have one that has been burnt out for months and it remains stuck in the range hood. On this basis this is NOT a product I would recommend.

Bad buttons

When you switch the fan speed the buttons pop out.
