[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a smooth finish like the rest of the appliances, still looks "dusty" after cleaning. Buttons function fine but are clunky and very mechanical feeling. Just doesn't look as refined as the rest of their line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Using warm water with a mild detergent and a lint free cloth, may assist with any cleaning matters for your range hood. Excellent hood

Great looks, lighting, and fan, not too loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this hood from Sears.com because it looked great and had decent reviews. I'm very happy so far! Some folks complained the fan is too loud, but on low it's quite quiet, and when using medium and high, there's usually serious cooking going on, so the noise doesn't bother me. The excellent airflow outweighs any negatives!
Only drawback was during install, it's pretty much impossible to slide onto the bolts with a rear vent. I had to install it, and then screw into place. Minor issue, however.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Problem with buttons

We have had this range hood for three years but only have used the hood for several months as this is a seasonal house for us. Two of the buttons that control the vent speed have fallen into the hood. Cannot figure out how to fix the problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Garbage

Yet another Frigidaire appliance I have to replace in my new home. This is supposed to vent directly outside, all it does is blow smoke around. Piece of garbage. Stuck with multiple pieces of garbage, and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll be out 10k replacing appliances.

If they could only fix the buttons!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit was installed in our home when it was built and has worked very well until this week when one of the fan buttons pushed through the frame. It was followed a couple of days later by a second button. I've read a number of reviews on this model that all claim likewise. Such a fatal flaw for a otherwise outstanding product. You'd think they would have cracked the code on it by now...

Button issues, bad design

Installed by home builder Nov 2017, well it appears same problem persist of the buttons fallen off and you try to put in and it falls all the way in.... appears to be a design flaw.. only last a few years.
