Bulb Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy with this range hood for 3 months, but one of the lights burned out already. I can not figure out how to replace the bulb. Is there a video somewhere? What does "push up on the lens" mean?

bad circuitry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks nice combined with the Frigidaire stove we bought. It has been a major headache regarding the electrical wiring. The lowest of the three speeds of the fan does not move the damper thus making this a recirculating unit. The worse is the lighting. It comes with halogen bulbs (2). One burned out after 1 week of use. These are not under warranty according to everyone, including Frigidaire. The second one went out 1 week later. After 2 months the unit burned out 5 bulbs. A replacement unit was installed with the same problems. I replaced the halogen bulbs with harder to find LED bulbs. No problems since, knock on wood.

Flimsy Range Hood

What a change

We are enjoying having a vent which is vented to the outside. Our only problem is that we have had a problem with gnats coming in through the vent. Anyone else have this problem? How do we solve this? The fan noise takes some getting use to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good hood. Fan and lighting are good. Major drawback is the difficulty in changing the light bulb. Very difficult. We try not to use the light because we don't want the bulb to burn out and have to be changed

is this a joke, thank you for sharing your range hood experience with us. I regret that you are having a hard time with replacing the halogen lamp. Page 15 in your Owner’s Manual goes over the steps. The first time I had to replace a bulb like this, due to having to wear gloves, I was unsure how much to push the bulb in (step 2). I found that the push up and clockwise turn was easier than I anticipated. I hope your experience is similar. For replacement purposes the part number for your replacement light bulb is 5304466038.
