Big let down

In the store they sound awesome but found out later it is because the sound output that is supplying the demos are a higher wattage than what you phone,iPod,MP3 or computer can supply. So for this reason your sound quality really diminishes. The noise canceling is absolutely a joke with these. Overall I was extremely disappointed. Took them back and got the Bose QC25. Now I'm happy

I was skeptical to Buy these overpriced cans but presidents sale cut these in half so I gave in. The sound is very weak. Noise cancellation? The ear pads were comfortable and color is pretty awesome. That's about it. My Sony in ear buds blow these studio beats away!! I'm returning the beats.

Do Not Buy

Bought this unit in Nov 2015. Took great care of if. its now July 4th 2016. All of a sudden, It will not show charge light nor carry a charge. This ear phone needs a charge to work. $154 bucks for 8 months.. I probably used 4 times a week. Remember, you get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good headphones but overpriced

Bottom line first:
Life of this is going to be somewhere between 18-24 months. The sound is artificially enhanced by Beats R&D(Enhanced good, but still weird since u lose the natural sound quality) and its little overpriced. There are better headphones in the market for a cheap price.
Detailed Review:
One thing I immediately noticed is that the materials which are used to make this headphones are dead cheap (So the actual cost comes around $28-$35 + Beats R&D cost). Since the materials are cheap, the cushion wore off often.
Its < a year and the cusion cover wore off twice (and after that the cushion will wore off in another 3-6 months). So the life of this headphones is extremely limited. But good thing is that this comes with Apple customer support and hence apple service quality.
During the time cushion wore off, I just have to type an email to apple support and they will send me a box which has shipment label and have it replaced within a day - as hassle free as expected.
Now the main part - sound. Its pretty decent. And the best part is noise cancelling. But the problem is that the music is artificially enhanced (especially the bass part). But it kinda feels good in your ears. Only problem is that you cannot enjoy the natural music - the way that was intended to be listened but u enjoy the Beats way of it. But people have their preferences and I like the beats way of enjoying the music.
I don't regret buying it though I regret not knowing these information to make a better buying decision.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How Often Used:Daily
Went to pick them up today at my local Best Buy, I was skeptical about them because of what people were saying on the reviews like "lacking on bass compared to old studios". Personally I own and love the 1st generation studios the bass on them are amazing in my perspective. These new studios thoe, thump bass as well, but a better more refined bass, which sounds amazing. Not to mention vocals and percussions sound amazing as well. I produce music "electronic mainly" sounds great with Hip-Hop as well. Overall the point I'm trying to emphasize here is that these new beats are amazing and great for music production.

I had the originals and recently made the switch over to these bad boys and they r just on another level!
Rechargeable and equipped with a battery meter so u kno when to recharge

How Often Used:Daily
I just picked these Beats Studios and was extremely excited to get them home and try them out. I already have a set of Beats Tours and I love them. Once I got them home and sat down to listen to some music, everyone around me thought I was blasting the volume all the way. I only had the volume about 50% or 60% and everyone around me could hear every single lyric and note. It's really hard to tell they leak sound so badly while listening to them on the display at the store. My intention was to use these to watch videos or movies on my ipad or laptop and listen to music on my iPhone, but I am constantly around others so this sound leakage problem sort of defeats the purpose.
Sadly, I will be returning these and picking up a set of the Beats Mixers instead since I've read that there is almost no sound leakage from them and from what I saw and felt at the store, they felt a lot more durable.
These headphones are great if you are always by yourself or don't mind forcing everyone around you to listen to what you are listening to.
What's great about it: These studios sound great and they feel very comfortable
What's not so great: They leak sound profusely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
