These over the ear Beats Headphones are great for listening to music and watching movies . Awesome sound quality. The noise cancelling feature is not as good as Bose and the quality if the headset to be used for calls is also less user friendly than Bose.

Tried Several Brands

After trying out several brands and models of over the ear headphones in BestBuy, I purchased the Beats, Studio Over-the-Ear Headphones. Their sound quality was amazing with crystal clear highs and perfect lows and the sale price at $150 was a fantastic deal.. After trying them for a couple of days, I realized however, that they were a little bulky and not as comfortable as I had hoped for. I then decided to return them to BestBuy and replaced them with a much more comfortable pair of Bose TrueSound Over the Ear Headphones. Although the sound quality as not as impressive as the Beats I was returning and the Bose were $30 more, they were much lighter in weight and comfortable, and therefore greater met my needs.

Horrible overall sound

Was so looking forward to owning these but when I got them they sounded like going through a tunnel, lousy acoustic set up terrible treble and mid range. By far the crappiest blue tooth headphones EVER. and thats why there are a million pairs for sale on Ebay. Bought mine from best buy!!!

Pretty solid sound and noise cancelling

Let me just say that, at the MSRP, I'd be pretty unhappy; however, given the significant savings I received, I was satisfied. The sound is good, but could use more bass - or some way to adjust it up or down independent of the media player. The ear seal was very good and comfortable, definitely better than the Solo 2 on-ear type. The noise cancelling, though not nearly as good as the Bose QC35's, makes a significant difference. These are comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time. The side button to quiet the headphones to hear someone speaking was also very helpful. The only other improvement would be wireless - which is a very sturdy jump in price that I was not prepared to make at this time.

Cons about the battery?

From the look of this, I question the battery. It seems that the battery is installed inside the headphone and doesn't seem removable. Don't you think from time to time rechargeable battery will lose its effect after 2 years like most rechargeable batteries? Also all rechargeable battery gives a number up to how many times it can be recharged and from my guess 1000 is a common number.
I think they should of made it that they include external rechargeable battery's with the charging dock. I don't think I want to purchase a 300 dollar pair of headphones that tells me it has a expiration date.
