Found out the only way these headphones will work is if the are charged. No option to not have "noise canceling" and just use as regular wired headphone. If headphone must be charged to use might as well go completely wireless.

We recently purchased these on sale from BestBuy for my wife who was looking to upgrade get headphones. I myself use Bose Quiet Comforts. I work in sound design for theatrical productions and find the "true sound" of the Quiet Comfort's to be the best. However for just casual music listening while drawing while I work on projects these headphones seem to have far surpassed her expectations.

How Often Used:3-5 times a week
Got these for xmas 2010. Loved them, thought they were top notch. After year and half worth of use, the plastic cup broke a few months ago. They still worked for the most part, just had to jiggle a bit. Now they don't work at all. Monster will not repair them. I offered to pay for the repairs and was told they don't repair them, they just send out new ones. Therefore, after your 1 year warranty, you have to buy a new pair at a reduced rate. For the amount of money these cost, the value simply doesn't exist. I was told by an after market repair company they can't fix them b/c Monster won't sell repair pieces. If you buy, I recommend you hang on to your receipt and all related purchase info. Personally, I will be researching companies for a new pair and moving away from Monster.
What's great about it: Great sound, very comfortable
What's not so great: plastic cup broke, now doesn't work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very great, Use at school confort yes some times not but great the noise reduction is not that great but works on a 1-100 scale it would be 99 and i support dre keep it going
What's great about it: It has a rockin Base
What's not so great: the case the stuff you put the chord in comes out easy

Wanted a pair of great stylish headphones with loud bass for when I listen to rap music ect. The sound quality is pretty good, you can hear background noises in songs that you never were able to detect before with just earbuds. And it really gives you a surround sound feeling. The downside being both price the sound leakage. You can't listen to these in public at anything louder than half your ipod volume or you will disturb the people around you. EVERYONE CAN HEAR YOUR MUSIC. So not really appropriate for travel on airplanes ect. They are nice and I like them but you can probably find something cheaper
What's great about it: Bass, Stylish Look, Very Comfy, Good Battery Life
What's not so great: Bulky to transport, Sound leaks, PRICE!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
