There are so much to choose from in this price range that blow these headphones out of the water. Very base heavy, which would be fine for club or rap, but that's not my thing. The overall sound is average, at best. Simply put, you're paying for the "B" on the side of the cans. The noise cancelling is pathetic. One, they don't cancel much. Two, their idea of noise cancelling is a constant and very audible hiss that kind of drowns out a minimal amount of background noise. They are comfortable to wear, but do your homework and get something worth that kind of money. Personally, I returned these and ended up getting some B&O (Bang & Olufsen H6 cans).

The studio headsets offer noise cancelling technology which works well on the airplanes that we travelled on. The only problem that I encountered was the cord falling out on slight tugs.

Along with the adaptive noise canceling you can listen to any music and feel like you are the only one in the room.
