These headphones are awesome! I was a little hesitant due to the higher price tag thinking I could find something better for less but after having used them multiple times now they are worth every penny. First time I used them was on a plane and I was watching a movie on my IPad. I was very impressed with the quality!!

How Often Used:Daily
I have owned all of the different versions of the Beats Studios and this is by far the best and my favorite. It feels stronger & lighter. It fits comfortably without hurting my head or ears after wearing them for 10+ hrs.
I wear these daily - at work, the airport, the airplane...I never leave home without them!!
These are a MUST HAVE!

I bought a set of Klipsch One headphones about 3 years ago. They are nice headphones, but a bit small on my ears. Sound quality was great, but they have one GLARING fault... their cable is not replaceable. The cable also does not have an angled plug, so after use plugged into an airplane armrest, they developed a short, which is massively annoying. Having to hold the plug one direction, just to get sound is lame. Now, I have a set of $150 headphones that are useless.
Picked up a set of these new Beats Studio 2.0 in black, and they are fantastic! Very happy that they toned the bass down a bit on this new model. I also really like the sound isolation that they have added. I can listen to music at HALF volume in a room with a loud tv on, and not be interrupted. That's great stuff!
Sound quality is nice and flat, with a bit of a bump in the low end. Never harsh, but never lacking in mids and highs. I listen to everything from rap to classical, blues, and rock... they ALL sound great through these headphones!
Headphones are comfortable, and not too tight (and I have a big head, lol). The mute button on the left side is a really nice feature. I also like the fact that these come with an additional signal cable. Granted, only one of them has a microphone, but it's great that the plug can be replaced. The hard carrying case is also a nice touch.
I picked these up for less than $200, and at that price point, I am very pleased. Would buy them again, for sure!

These studio headphones are the best thus far. Just to address a concern people have about the rechargeable battery, I recommend buying the geek squad protection! That way you don't have any worries. Anyway these are perfect for traveling especially on long airplane rides. The noise cancellation blocks out crying babies and the loud engine noise. The headphones have a great balance so that the bass gives a nice punch but isn't too overwhelming. Another thing is the size of these new studios. With the older studios I shyed away from them because of the size. I am a female with a smaller head so the studios looked and felt humongous on my head. These new ones are much more comfortable and the size isn't overwhelming. The build of the headphones are much improved but the plastic make still doesn't seem too "sturdy" and are a fingerprint magnet. As long as you take care of the headphones and don't rough around with them they should be fine. Also the fingerprints wipe off really easy with a cloth. The price may feel like a little much but it is what it is. You get what you pay for. Style and quality come at a price. All around these are very nice and I'm really satisfied. Hope this review helps anyone that is a little hesitant with purchasing.

What's great about it: Much Improved noise cancellation, No more buying batteries,
What's not so great: a little leakage so not wearing to bed or you'll probably have to sleep on the couch

I looked @ the studio headphones for awhile. It wasn't until the end of last year did I consider buying a pair. It was the limited edition colors (automotive blue what I consider them) that did it for me. Say what you will about sound per dollar. I'm sure there are better sound products and really it's for the name. But I'm liking my purchase. I treat it with the upmost care because their not cheap. Sound is good with nice bass; with active noise cancellation (AAA battery powered. Do some research and look what works for you and budget. I waited a long time before I did and I'm not disappointed. Hope this helps.
What's great about it: Form factor (collapsable ear cups) and sound. Don't forget new limited edition colors.
What's not so great: AAA Battery usage
I would recommend this to a friend!

New and improved studios

These new studios are much improved from the previous studios. i owned those. These are lighter,stonger,and sound better.better meaning a little more natural not quite as bass heavy the vocals are clearer. If you have older studios and can sell them these are worth an upgrade though they are overpriced at $299. But your paying for the brand too. These also have rechargable batteries rated at 20 hours from full charge and it seems to be accrurate so far. These look sexy in white.
