If you don't turn the volume up loud enough you can hear the active noise cancellation (it sounds like the hissing of an old tv when its staticky)
I have a pair of beats solo so I had high expectations and these fell way short.

I gave these headphones a 4/5 because my son uses them and then leaves them on and the battery gets depleted before I have a chance to use it. I wish that they could sense if there was sound passing through them and turn off automatically after 30 minutes of non-use. I don't know if any of the headphones do this, but it sure would be useful.
