My review is purely personal preference and opinion but if it helps then great. These are wired headphones that you need to charge which I assume is the noise cancelling aspect of them. The thing about that is when turned on it creates a high pitch buzzing sound which can be heard unless the music is fairly loud. I feel like there are headphones out there just as great that may not have this issue for the same price.

The sound is decent, but after charging one day, the headphones suddenly went to no charge after being disconnected from the power source. I was under warranty so Geek Squad sent them to the factory for repairs and then returned them to me (Geek Squad was very helpful). They worked for a while, then the same thing happened again: Losing all charge after being disconnected from power source. I can't speak to the entire Beats brand, but these specific headphones had issues.
