Quantum??? Eh, not so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited and eager to use the Quantum batteries particularly in my digital camera while on vacation. I was disappointed. I didn't notice anything different between the Quantum batteries and the cheaper brand batteries that I normally would use. The battery life was virtually the same after steady, daily use. I will be sticking to the cheaper battery that I have been using in the past for the same duration but less money.

battery life not equal to tester on side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried these in the thing that eats batteries the most at our house, the Xbox controllers. I put the date on the sticky note that we put them in, they lasted a couple of weeks the controllers wouldn't work and batteries needed to be replaced. When I tested the batteries 1 still said full and the other was half. These were both in the same controller so why was 1 half drained and the other one not but yet they weren't giving enough power for the controller to work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these batteries, as a parent with an infant these batteries have lasted way longer in her big toys, swing toys, bounceroo toys and bouncy seat! I have yet to change them, and she uses them a lot.

For me in everyday applications like a wireless mouse, flashlight, etc. the Duracell Quantum AA lasts around 1/2 as long as Duracell Coppertops.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My NEW go to batteries...

For all things electronic these are definitely the way to go. Batteries NEED to be on hand and readily available in our house. With 2 kids that have lots of toys, 3 tv remotes, 4 ceiling fan remotes, 2 cameras and shamefully too many other battery operated gadgets to name, batteries are a must. I am happy to report that after several hours of remote control helicopter use, these Quantum AA's FAR surpassed ANY other batteries we've used. My son was the happiest kid on the block and actually retired early which was a first. Usually he ends up sad and wanting more play time but NEVER the other way around. These batteries outran my 8 year old son. I still can't believe it but the proof was in the puddin' when successfully and very excitedly he got another few hours the next day. That would have normally taken us 12 batteries - Not only 4. Guess there really is a first time for everything. Never thought I'd be so excited over batteries but I was proven wrong. We have already purchased and replaced ALL of our remote batteries, especially the ones for the PS3 controllers. Great work Duracell. These are officially our new "Go To Batteries!!" #happymom #batteries4life #happyson

Extremely powerful AA Batteries

When I received my Duracell Quantum AA batteries in the mail, I did expect that they would batteries, but they definitely exceeded my expectations by far. I decided to try the AA Duracell Quantum batteries in my daughters Mobigo portable game system and store brand AA batteries into my sons Mobigo game system. Immediately you could tell the difference in power. Yes, both brand’s batteries powered the game systems, but Duracell Quantum batteries not only powered they system; it brought it to life. The screen was brighter, the sound was louder. Also, with regular daily game play, the store brand batteries would be dead within a week. So far, we are going on about two weeks and the Duracell Quantum batteries are still going strong. These batteries might cost a little more than the average battery, but with the extended life of these batteries, they will more than pay for themselves.

My wife has some lights in her decorations on the mantle that consume batteries like it's a race. We switched to rechargeable and switch out every few days. It is extremely inconvenient. We put in the Duracell batteries four days ago and they are going strong! She's happy...I'm happy.
