Roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new, one month old. Replacing a 20 yr old upright, which is lots to live up to. So far, it's roomy, adequate shelves and door space. Used unincluded large plastic tray to compartmentalize more. Quiet enough for our rec room. Door seal is excellent! Frost Free seems very true. Door dent compensated by vendor. Overall great, so far.

Great freezer!

Some people have complained about the tight seal where you have to use two hands to open but we think that’s a huge benefit as you can feel comfortable that no air is leaking out!! We love it!! Lots of storage

Stops working FFFH17F2QW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this unit 7/23/16. Do not remember the first time it stopped running. We thought maybe we turned the thermostat down by accident. On 10/14/19 it stopped working again. And for the second time after we got back home the whole garage was smelling very bad with water on the concrete. Wife turn the thermostat up and down and it never turned on. When I got home, she tried it again and after a few time of turning the thermostat up and down the freezer came back on. We have thrown away a lot of meat and vegetables. We only replace our older freezer ( and it wasn't a frigidaire) because it was old and we was scared one day we would come home to find it not working. We had that freezer for about 8 to 10 years with no issues. We buy a new one and now we have already had the same problem twice. I would like to fix it. Sounds like the thermostat is going out (sticking). I'm trying to find part now. If I can not fix it then I will replace it with a different brand.

Short life?
