not really blu-ray

was very disappointed to find that this is not a widescreen version, it is full screen. what's more, the video quality is average even by dvd standards and definitely not up to the HD standard of blu-ray. I'm happy to have all three movies in one package but feel a little misled about the quality fo the discs.
What's great about it: all three movies in one package
What's not so great: quality of video not up to blu-ray standard
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great movies remastered on bluray. Worth it alone for the first movie. Definitely a buy for any Godfather fan The extras are average.
What's great about it: Vlassic movies. Some of the best of all-time... remastered on Bluray
What's not so great: Average extras - you can get more if you buy the collector's edition for WAY more money
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best gangster movies ever made! I lets you see how all gangster movies got their beginnings.
What's great about it: It gives you a look into the world of old school gangster
What's not so great: nothing, cause its awsome!

What can I say about The Godfather that has not been said already? The picture and audio are far superior to television and DVD quality. The extras are interesting, entertaining and plentiful. You will not be disappointed with this re-release of these masterpieces.

I was looking for this 'master piece' and then Best Buy send me an irresistible offer into 'deal of the day' email. The Blue-Ray set with a much better price than the DVD one - I could not miss that opportunity.
What's great about it: Excellent movie with much better quality

There's something absurd asking me to say something about the Godfather that hasn't been said 100 times before, and 100 times better than I could.
If you appreciate The Godfather for what it is, you'll celebrate having this set in your movie collection.
