Another great hit for what it has now become the Rock Band Revolution. The tracks are great but it's a tease when you mostly have one song to play per artist. There are many songs in mind that would make the experience more incredible, but probably would not make the Teen rating. Perhaps they should make tracks like Godsmack's "Greed" available for online downloading and give the people a chance to rock a little harder. The instruments are not much different from RB1 with the exception of the nice but potentially pricey drums set. With the add on symbols as an option, you can only dream if you're struggling just to make enough to get a 2nd guitar (for bass) in order to complete the band. The live option is cool, especially when you're in the mood, but don't have anyone to play with. Battle of the Bands is also a cool feature. The graphics could use some work. Either way, RB2 will not disappoint as it digs into your soul and brings out the rocker in all of us. ROCK ON!
What's great about it: Highly Addictive
What's not so great: Needs more familiar hits & less unknown "B side" tracks.

better improvment of online world tour, battle of the bands feature is good but it doesnt matter what difficulty your at (there are no bonuses for playing on a harder difficulty than another band) there are some songs that i wonder why they ever made it on the game AHEM bob dylan(great song writer just not fun for today's generation).
What's great about it: you can transfer rock band songs to the 2nd one
What's not so great: some songs are too long and not fun to play or listen to

Rockband 2 rocks. Adding tons of new tracks & more multiplayer features was a much needed addition. Due to lyrics it's not "family friendly," but the songs are quality.
What's great about it: customization, accurate difficulty levels, great music
What's not so great: graphics are better, not full use of 360 though

This is very good and is still the best party game out there. I think these games will just get better with time. The core of these games are so strong, who doesn't want to rock out? I hope to see better graphics and maybe a new "note/chord" Graphic User Interface.
What's great about it: The Band leader is no longer required to play!
What's not so great: I would like to be able to make my own tracks (guitar hero world tour)

My friends and I all love this game. The track list is amazing, especially with Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood album available for download. The ONLY thing I don't like about this game is the fact that the cymbals have to be purchased separately for the wireless drum kit.
What's great about it: track list of hundreds of songs
What's not so great: drum kit does not come with cymbals!!!

Rock Band 2 feels just like the original Rock Band and that isn't a bad thing. Rock Band 2 expands on the band experience with special challenges and the "battle of the bands" feature over Xbox Live.
The only down side for me was if you want to have all the songs on the disc available for quick play you will have to unlock them in Band World Tour or you can just use a code, but you will not get achievements. Otherwise this game is great and defenatly recommend, especially if you have a group of friends that can come over and help you take the world by storm.
What's great about it: Great multiplayer, great song list
What's not so great: Need to unlock some songs through play

Great sequel to rock band 1. Almost all 84 songs are great, however some are horrible, boring, and i have no idea why they are on it...but the other 83-81 songs are really fun. The drum set needs to be better, but I'm not going to pay for the super high end one.
What's great about it: awesome party game
What's not so great: drum set still isn't what it should be
