The card is pretty self explanitory. You prepay the said amount on the card in store/online and you are able to transfer to the Playstation Network Store (Or Sony Entertainment Network Store). If you don't feel comfortable entering your credit card or only deal with cash, this is the purchase for you.

PSN Cards are too risky

I had a ton of trouble, since the BestBuy folks did not activate the card. I spent several hours with PSN and BestBuy Support and the card is still not activated.

Buyer Beware!!

If you bought this card, i will encourage you to use it and not hang on to it.
I bought mine in Dec 2013, and when I finally tried to use it in early Dec 2014, it did not work. Called Best Buy, was advised to call Sony. Called Sony, and was informed someone already used the code back in Aug 2014, and there was nothing they could do about it. Called Best Buy again, and was informed it's been too long.
So basically, I paid $50 and got nothing! :(
Just beware if you bought the card. Don't hang on to it!
Don't want anyone else to go through the same thing.

We tried to use our PSN $50 card and found out that it was already used. You sold us a card that was used on Dec 13, when we gave for a christmas gift. To go further, we tried to take it back to your customer service and your Village Point store said they could do nothing for us. Not happy and will most likely not purchase from your store again.
