Hard worker

This printer has been in use now for about a year. Set up doesn't take too long if you are connecting directly to your computer, but can be a little frustrating setting up the wifi. I had to buy a wireless router to use the wifi. It does use a little more ink than I expected, but print quality is great. It does make noise, but no more than my all in one that I have at home. I wish that they would make it print black even though a color ink maybe out. Over all it gets worked, worked hard at times, and has been great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only owned this for a short period of time (about 6 weeks). Never in my life, have I seen a printer go through so much ink so quickly. I've already changed all the color cartidges twice -- and I don't do that much printing. To further compound my irritation, Epson doesn't list the milliliters on the cartridges (#68 vs #69)any more so you can't tell how much more ink you're getting when you buy the high capacity ink cartridges. The print quality seems decent but the printing cost per page appears to be outrageous.

Printing is a clanky affair. Ink runs out quickly.
Seems to have too many details in the software.

the Epson NX300 is horrible. It won't turn off without reading the manual. Every time it tries to print, it jams. The model one-step above it is just as bad. It is so loud it will wake the dead.

Not convinced yet

The quality of output is unquestionably good, and the scan/copy/fax modes easy to use, but the set up for a wireless network has been (and still is) frustrating. One computer works beautifully, but adding a second has thus far been unsuccessful even after 3 software re-installs.

Easy setup. Super fast. Works with Mac!

After being extremely disappointed with the Canon ImageClass MF4270, the setup and features of the Epson WorkForce 600 has been fantastic so far.
It arrived today and setup was very easy, taking about 10 minutes to install the drivers and software on my MacBook.
It was simply to connect this to our wireless router so everyone in the office can use it. Unlike the Canon, you can even scan wirelessly!
Scanning speed seems to be a little slower than the Canon, but that may be the default hi-res settings. Printing is incredibly fast, though. Even in colour, the pages pop out much faster than expected.
It has built-in memory card slots and a USB port, which is very handy for printing photos from a digital camera.
I just noticed that it also has duplex printing. They've thought of everything for business!

Once I decided to follow the directions set up was a breeze. I connected the printer to my router via Ethernet and was printing wirelessly in 10 minutes, maybe or less.
I truly love how lighting quick this printer is and the Wi-Fi option, thanks Epson!
