Great watching football

with this L.G t.v there is no motion blurr . i had a 240 hz lcd t.v and it had some blurr with it,but this t.v has none.just to let you know i am watching it through a antenna not a cable company . the picture is outstanding.i have a ps3 ,and a blu-ray player connected and the picture is also outstanding.the sound is amazing as you have many control options on how you hear and see the picture. the wizard was great to have to help set up the picture ,but i like mine set up without the wizard. you might have to tweak you controls as well to fit your liking .anyway this is the best t.v out there for this price.this is my first plasma and i do not think ill get another lcd t.v .L.G plasma has a customer for life.

Great TV for the money. Easy setup, great picture and got it for an amazing price. Plasma is a great technology that often gets overlooked. Sound is better than most tv's I owned. Just a great TV that I'm glad I purchased. Get one, you can't go wrong! Doug:)

Spent lots of time researching on web. Finally went to big box store to compare visually. Saw one in use at one store side by side with closest competitor. 50PA6500 picture was great, price was even better. Went to another big box store for a price comparison. TV was out of stock, price was $50 better including home delivery. TV arrived in just a few days, set up was easy by myself on a corner cabinet. We were enjoying it that evening. My preferences were easy to dial in and we love it!
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, priced right

This is a great tv and the best pricing in the market. Nothing we can find wrong with it. The onboard color calibration works excellent.

I am not pleased with my LG because after only a year and half. It just started turning off and after about ten minutes it comes back on. Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and it has turned itself on. My kids are unable to play with their xbox because it keeps going off and on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

only drawback with my tv is that the picture is darker that I am use to. But overall the TV is great, easy to use the resolution is great and the colors are great but like I said just darker in the daytime than I would like...but at nighttime it's great.

Great simple television

This is an excellent television if you know how to configure all the extra devices (HTPC, dvd players, sound, WII, etc.). Our first foray into HD is leaving us speechless! Great for sports - we LOVE HD hockey playoffs. If you want to save some money by avoiding smart tv's and other extras, this TV is for you. So far the picture and quality seem excellent! Could possibly use some more inputs, but these can be connected through a good receiver. Also the remote is not hi tech, but that's a plus for this old geezer.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

I did alot of research because I was skeptical of paying so much for a Tv. I still had a 32" Tube television and was fine with it.
Plasma Tv's have a bad rep because of the earlier models but this one was a great buy. I got it for a much cheaper price than LCD or LED of the same size plus 1080p and refresh time is great on these! You can watch it from any angle without problems. The picture is excellent and I didn't realize what I was missing. I could not go back to my old Tv. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants a Big Tv for a Price that can't be beat!
