Will not charge

Purchased 3 of these tablets last Christmas. I wasn't expecting great quality due to the price, but I was expecting a reliable tablet. Since Christmas, all three of them will no longer charge at all. I have tried different brands of chargers, since the ones that came with them no longer work either. Nothing charges these tablets. I have very upset little kids who no longer get to play with the gifts that Santa got them. Anyone else with this issue? Is it able to be fixed? Is it worth getting it fixed? I will not pay $150+ on tablets for a 10 and 8 year old, out of the question, so if I can get these fixed, I would be grateful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I read a lot of bad press before buying this and the value factor pushed me to the idea tab. I LOVE IT!! Very user friendly, lightweight and pretty powerful. I would highly recommend it.
Very good tablet but low internal storage for apps

I think that it is great device for that price. The performance is good, nice sound, outstanding reliability (no problem during 2 weeks of using it), sufficient battery capacity, good features. But the internal storage reserved for applications is low - 500 MB (the system apps initially use considerable part of it). So I ended with low internal storage warning after installing about 30 apps, even if all apps which can be moved to USB storage were moved there. And installing and unistalling of the applications "on demand" is very tedious. I think that at least 1 GB internal app storage would greatly enhanced the usability and user experience of this tablet. I would recommend it for those who do need only few apps installed, then it is very good choice.
I bought a1000 and the first thing I updated the app system (chromium, market, gmai, google+, maps) appeared to be the result written out of memory. incredible, 16Gbit memory and only 500Mega for apps. I had to perform a factory reset and do not update the app system I have included only a few app needed and stop. Too bad, the device has a good processor and fluid, a brilliant display, a battery with long life span, and a wifi-bluethoot good. sin lenovo have reduced too much system memory partition. hope for an upgrade that changes the partition
Very good sound quality, display is not bad, long life battery. The reserved storage for apps is terrible low - 500MB is not enough !! My experience: Be careful, when I forgot to charge the tablet it became dead...no charging, no boot...nothing...so it is at service Lenovo now...I hope it is not feature.
This is my first tablet purchase and from what I have seen so far the Lenovo A1000 is good value for money. Uses Android Jelly Bean 4.2, so it's smooth and fluid. Since purchase, I have downloaded over 20 apps, notified of low storage, but noticed you can send most Apps to Usb Storage which is around 12gb of storage. Disappointed the Netflix app will not load past the buffering stage, I don't know if this is down to my connection, but all other apps work. Apart from that it's a good value tablet and is excellent for music, Front speakers with Dolby Digital sound. Been using it for about a week and had no problems with it.
