Works FineOn My PC With Windows 10

I use this scanner to scan slides, film negatives and photos. It does a great job running on Windows 10. A bit slower than I'd like but all scanners I've used have that issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Canoscan Shines Again

The scanner works perfectly. Just one little thing to learn vs. my Canoscan that wore out: B&W documents scan as TIFF or BMP. Grayscale gives smaller JPG as an output option. Also, the scanner has to be located closer to the computer. My old Canoscan was at the end of an 8-ft. USB extension. This would not work unless we used just the USB cable it came with. I had to move the printer to a new location.
Pros: High resolution, High-speed scanning, easy to use, lid buttons
Cons: Large Footprint, requires close proximity to computer

Great improvement

Purchased he 9000F MarkII to replace a HP4050 that was no longer directly supported for connectivity with the Yosemite OS. The Canon printer is a significant improvement, providing faster, quieter operation, easier downloading, better quality image scans and more intuitive functionality.

Best Scanner Ever!

My old scanner died years ago and I finally decided to purchase another one. I did a lot of research and the CanoScan had the best reviews overall. I decided to order it from the Canon website and was very happy with the additional service guarantee I would get by using their site. Scanner was super easy to install. It is also user friendly and easy to run as well.

"A" rating for the CanoScan 9000F, varied uses....

I am happy with the CanoScan 9000F, and I use the scanner to scan negatives, slides, photographs and documents, both for business and personal photography interest.
I have had very, very little issues with quality, regarding the ability to focus in, adjust or manipulate scans. I am happy with the functionality of the software regarding adjusting the scans and giving me options, not just variable DPI and photoshop software, but actually being able to adjust the quality of the scans.
I have used the scanner to scan very old black and white negatives, as well as fairly old color negatives, also both black and white slides have come out very nice, and of course pictures and documents are no trouble. Different trays come with it, and you either fit in your slides, negatives, pictures or documents, and the accessories easily fit to keep the slides, etc., in the right place, and easy to move on to the next set of scans.
I use an iMac, and really enjoy the one button push scans that I can quickly email, store in folders and do one of many things.
The bottom line, this scanner is very reasonable, which is a nice surprise. I have been able to save many many images that are 50 to 80 years old, and not hurt the media, all for a very low price. I have had the CanoScan for some time, and have had no problems with it what so ever. If your in the market looking around, and you are on a budget, buy this scanner!!

Love it! (My Canon 9000F Scanner, that is)

I have been immensely pleased with this scanner. I got it primarily for scanning 35mm negatives and slides and the performance has been outstanding. I normally scan negatives at 2400 dpi even thought higher resolutions are available.
I have been also scanning photos and the ability to scan up to 3 photos at once directly into Photoshop CS2 has proved to be very quick and and has also given me great results at 600 dpi.
My only complaint has been the inability to scan 110 film negatives or any kind of 8mm/16mm frames even though the resolutions afforded would be adequate for most purposes.

Best 120 Scanner on the market

For any one scanning 120 for mat,this has to be the best on the market for the price and ease of use. Been useing it for about a week scaned close to 200 120 for mat film with ease color and contrast controls vary easey to use.if i could sagest one thing that canon could emprove would be a film adapter for
mounted 120 slides.

Way better than my last scanner

I used to own three other scanners by another company and this scanner is by far the best of all. In fact I used to used this other companies products exclusively but when I tried to get product support they wouldn't help me. I now have Canon printers and scanner and found that they are the more superior product.in every facet of the game. This scanner takes about 1/10th the time to scan a document or image and with the use of the image garden makes scanning a joy. I now use Canon products exclusively. Everything about the scanner and printers makes using a computer much more exciting and fun. Thank you Canon.
