My son would always plug the PS3 controllers to charge just before shutting the PS3 down. So the controllers were always out of charge. Now he uses this dock and they're ready to go every time. Much better than dealing with a USB cable on the console.

There are not too many options for dualshock 3 controller chargers and the dualshock 4 chargers are far superior. But for the dualshock 3s, this unit is the best in my opinion. A little tricky to put controller in place but once in it holds very firm and shows clearly whether it's fully charged or charging. Actually it's very bright and alluminates the room

This charging station is very nice. You don't have to warred to turn on PS3. One thing I should mention that the picture on the web might misleads customer if you expected there are extra USB ports. This item doesn't have the USB ports just charging ports for two controllers.
