This is the easiest setup. The print quality for basic data printing is excellent. The quality for photo's just falls short of perfect. I do recommend this printer for everyday use. I would not recommend this printer for anyone who wants high quality or professional level photos.

Just What I Needed

I like to wait until I've had a product for some time before doing a review. I've had my WF30 for a year and it has operated flawlessly. Resolution is fine and clear, printing is fast, images are sharp.
I had another popular brand for 3yrs that was never a good printer and now it is so nice to have something that works as it should.
I run a home business and this is just what I needed.

The paper feed consistently sticks and refuses to feed the paper.

I print a large amount of 8-1/2 by 11 text sheets, and I don't need anything fancy. I need something dependable and affordable. This is the third Workforce 30 printer I have purchased.

Surprised Customer

Had this printer justone day.
Bought this printer because laser ran out of toner and needed printer and buying toner from stores is double the price than on internet. Had Epson printers before and this one was inexpensive, ($10.00 more than if I bought toner from store).
Got it home, unpacked, did quick setup, installed software, and printed. I wasamazed at the speeed and quality of text. I then printed a color picture, again the speed and quality was very surprising. Then I printed a picture on photo paper, picture had all kinds of colors in it and the print was slower but not bad and the quality was very acceptable.
I can't say enough good things about this printer, especially for the price and I really like printers with seperate ink cartriges for each color. I've had Epson printers in the past and they have always done what they said they would do, this little printer is no exception. I had one of Epson's first Dot Matrix printers back in the early '80s with the first IBM PC. Man have they come along way with weight, size, function, and price.
Anybody looking for a great little color printer for a great price I would highly recommend this Epson.

Love my Epsons!

The Workforce 30 is a powerhouse for at home printing and desktop publishing. I use my WF30 for color brochures, photos, color flyers and booklets on cardstock, matte and glossy photo paper and am impressed by the quality. Best of all, the plain paper setting is so detailed that I seldom use the premium ink settings even though I use premium paper. I save a bundle on ink cartridges and save printing time. This is my second Epson; I bought my first one back in 1996 and it still works, but my husband monopolizes it, so I biought the WF30 for myself.

Not at all disappointed!

I've been a satisfied customer since 1998 This is my fourth Epson Printer. The last one being stylus 88+ which I considered a work-horse. I was disappointed when my new computer (Windows 7) was not compatable. I didn't think I could find a stand alone...as I have EPSON Scanner. So far my Workforce 30 has met or exceeded my expectations. Print quality is great.. only thing I noted was the cartridges were a bit smaller. As I've only been using a little more than a week I'm hoping the ink lasts a least as long as 88+. Also, most reviews cited the noise factor on start-up. I've not found the printer to be excessivly noisy.

Good printer, happy with it. Disappointed that Epson does not provide USB cable with printers, quite a delay if living in a remote area. Epson should state cable is not supplied so it could be ordered at the same time as printer when buying directly from Epson on line
