Easy to install. User friendly. Very good print quality and reliable so far. Allan for a very reasonable price. By the way have used all functions except 2 sided printing
Purchased a different Brother printer as a gift for family member who raves about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Printer at Affordable Price

The MFC-J475DW is an affordable printer with bells and whistles. It is not the fastest, or most versatile printer but it's not bad. To get the same features on other brands would cost much more and they would not have the ink versatility of this Brother model. For a fax/scan/copy/printer at this price point, you can't go wrong with the MCF-J475DW.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like everything about the brother printer so far. I replaced a dell 715 which always had connection problems, and happily i can say i have had no issues with this printer connecting to any wireless device. I like the phone app, i can now print from my android phone. setup is simple for someone with very limited tech knowledge. good options. holds plenty of paper for home use. very pleased overall.

MFC-J475DW IS OUTSTANDING PRINTER

I got this printer to replace a Brother MFC-240C which served me well for 7 or 8 years. This printer does much more than my last printer such as two sided printing on a sheet of paper. Print colors are great and free from skips or over saturation. The printer work fairly quietly.

The printer works good, WIFI set up was not easy

I did not intend to use the fax function. I only use once in a while, home use only. I have to reboot my cable modem and router every time the machine is idle for a few days. When this happens My Mac Pro pop up says "the printer is not connected".The initial WIFI set up instructions were confusing to me and I had to get help over the phone from Brother customer service. All in all I have overcome all the problems and the printer function and copy function both work fine. I would buy again because the setup challenge is probably due to my being unfamiliar with the technology.

Another Reliable Brother Printer

I've owned most of the other major brands of printers and find Brother printers to be real workhorses. My last, an MFC-240c, I had for more years than I can keep track of and I used it a lot. When it finally gave up the ghost I knew I would replace it with another Brother. I bought the MFC-J475DW all-in-one. Simple wireless setup. Very fast prints. Inexpensive inks. And so quiet. If it lasts half as long as my previous Brother workhorse of a printer I'll be happy.

Horrible

Worst printer I have ever owned. I buy all new cartridges...print about 10 pages over a few months...and the thing says I need to buy new cartridges again. horrible horrible horrible
