Replaced a continued malfunctioning KitchenAid built-in duel oven. The PT7550DFBB GE Profile has incredible heating choice features, fantastic oven-light control for 'each' oven, safety-pullout shelves that are easy to clean, highly visible glass that allows peaking without opening the oven doors, and so much more. Gotta love the 'music' indicator when using the timer and when oven is at desired temp!

Ovens have great features, outstanding perfoprmance, The proofing setting for baking yeast breads is awesome, fun to cook with.

proof doesn't work.
when 1st installed oven, only did top one since ge packed 2 left brackets for bottom oven & none for the right side of the oven. had to wait a while for a new shipment.

Huge disappointment, inconsistent temperature

Huge disappointment. Pro's: Controls are easy to use. Good size. We bake a LOT and find that we like having both convection and regular oven; have never needed the second convection.
Con's: Inconsistent temperature across areas ... rolls, breads, cookies, etc are overdone on top or underdone on bottom (or both!). Left heats differently than right side. I am a very experienced baker and have never had problems like this with any other oven. We had it repaired (within warranty) but doesn't seem to be working any better. ... Problems most notable for convection (upper).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using this wall oven for 3 months now and the only complaint I have is it takes forever to heat.

Great Cooking, controls too complicated

The oven works great and cooks food very well. The controls are way too complicated for an oven. I'm an airline pilot and military pilot. I operate multi-million dollar aircraft almost every day and this thing perplexes me sometimes.

I couldn't be happier with the GE Profile double oven. Convection on top oven & tradional oven on bottom. Extremely accurate baking and very user friendly. Beautiful addition to my kitchen. I also replaced old microwave & range with GE Profile appliances. Great service !
