Best Refrigerator ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I read many reviews about different brands of French Door Refrigerators, and we were scared. These models are expensive, and many people complain about the noise of the engine or the noise of the ice maker + another issues, but we found this Café Model, it is big, smooth engine, no noise at all. So our recommendation is if you want a French door refrigerator stop looking, buy this one!!! Just check the dimensions of the space in your kitchen this is big and nice!!!

It's okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not enough cold water capacity. Only 14 oz of cold water reservoir . Ice cubes spit out at different angles causing to land on floor rather than cup.
Looks good, we "impress" people with the photo slide show and hot water dispensar in door. We didn't realize it came with either of these functions.
Shelves are easy to adjust, overall it's fine, just frustrated with ice and water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Instant hot...not!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the large capacity in the fridge but disappointed that the hot water dispenser is not an instant hot as described by the sales person but instead it takes 5 minutes for the water to heat up before it dispenses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very attractive refrigerator with super lighting inside. The lights are clear...not blue...like in some refrigerators.
It's huge so measure your space carefully. I rated it Fair on features because it has features that you so do not need or even want in a refrigerator...like hot water. To get the hot water, you have to wait five or so minutes for it to heat up. Me, I'll use the microwave and have it hot in 60 seconds.
Also, the Precise Fill feature is really not necessary. By the time you key in 64 oz (one ounce per click) to fill your coffee carafe, you could have filled it up at the faucet and poured it in the coffee maker.
So, aside from the fact that it has features I will never use, I like it. The doors are super heavy but I'll get used to that.
I'm rating it four stars because of the features I'll never use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great idea but needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited when I saw this model with the hot water dispenser. I am a tea and hot chocolate drinker and was thrilled I could just dispense the hot water right from my refrigerator! Unfortunately, the product was so brand new most stores didn't have any to look at, there were no reviews posted and the sales people had no familiarity with the product. The only reason we ignored all that (which we normally would not have) was because we got such a great deal on it. Looking back now I wish we had gone for a different model.
I will start with the positives; this is a beautiful looking fridge. While I would have liked the option to purchase it in black, the stainless steel has a very high-end appearance. The display panel and buttons are all clearly visible and easy to use. The freezer is VERY spacious and I love the upper drawers to help organize smaller items. The interior of the fridge is also very roomy. There is a ton of room in the bins on the insides of the doors, the glass shelves are easily adjustable and you can store 2 liter bottles of soda without difficulty. One of the organizers in the door also has a shelf that extends down from it and can hold a carton of eggs. Even the door with the ice maker (which comes out smoothly with one hand, should you want to quickly dump some in a bucket) has room for storing smaller items. The crispers are nice and deep and keep the fruits and veggies very fresh. I love the flexibility of the wide drawer under the crispers, and how you can adjust the temperature with the touch of a button.
The water filter is in the door and is super easy to change. The water dispenser and ice dispenser work fine, though if you are looking for a fridge that makes enough ice to fill a cooler, this is not it. You can fill an ice bucket, but no more than that.
Now for the negatives...
Two things I do not like about this fridge. Unfortunately the hot water dispenser is one of them. First cup of hot water for the day takes 5 minutes to heat up. If you use it immediately after it can take anywhere from 1:30 to 3 minutes to warm a second cup. I tried the soup setting for soup and it was not hot enough, so basically I use the tea setting for anything I need hot water for. It also only heats a maximum of 10 ounces at a time. So if you are making tea for two, or hot chocolate for a couple of cold kids, someone is going to be waiting for their cup! If it wasn't for the fact that the tea does taste better with the hot water poured over the bag, instead of nuked in the cup, I probably wouldn't use it very often.
The second negative is the "precise fill" option. Yes it is nice to be able to push the button and get exactly 2 cups of water. What would be even nicer would be if you did not have to stand there holding the pot and pushing against the dispenser to get the water. So they got that one half right.
Overall I really love this refrigerator, which is why I gave it four stars, and had I not bought the model with the hot water dispenser I probably would have given it 5.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for Mother's Day. We had a 17 year old 26 Cu Ft. Side by Side and several small things needed repair....I was waiting to redo the kitchen, but when my oven door broke, we bought this refrigerator to match.
We go to the Farmer's Market every 2 wks and this refrigerator gives enough room to view all the fresh fruits and vegetables so we don't have to "hunt" for items making it easier to cook.
The freezer is huge! The enclosed bins prevents food from "dripping" to the bottom of the freezer before it is frozen. I anticipate getting many years of use...
We go to the Farmer's Market every 2 wks and this refrigerator gives enough room to view all the fresh fruits and vegetables so we don't have to "hunt" for items making it easier to cook.
The freezer is huge! The enclosed bins prevents food from "dripping" to the bottom of the freezer before it is frozen. I anticipate getting many years of use...
BTW, the delivery man said if the water still drips, there is air in the line and I should dispense a third gallon of water to clear the lines and to toss the first batch of ice. I also turned off the ice maker initially to turbo cool/freeze....

Love this refrigerator!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this refrigerator in May, so far it has surpassed my expectations!! I use the hot water feature everyday for tea and oatmeal. The ice maker never runs out but the ice sometimes gets jammed. I just take the bin out and bang it a couple of times and it starts dispensing again.
I would recommend this to a friend!
