[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Fridge is beautiful. Inside and out this thing wows me. The ice maker/ water dispenser is awesome. I even loaded pictures of the kids on it and they scroll across the screen during parties or whenever we choose. Huge amount of space, giant freezer, great function to go along with it's style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Cafe Series French Door refrigerator has tons of room and looks beautiful in our kitchen. I like the ability to change the temperature in the different drawers and the hot water dispensing feature (although it takes longer than I thought it would to heat up).
I would like the auto-fill feature that is on some of the other Cafe French door models and an opportunity to set the frig for "high humidity" use, but those are minor details and I love my new frig.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Fridge, needs a few tweeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon delivery, getting the plastic covering off the stainless steel was difficult because it was behind the seals. Once removed, I had to go buy a stainless steel cleaner to make the finish look clean and new. Recommend: Include a stainless steel cleaner with the product. Also, Include an extra water filter. Ice (crushed/cubes) splash all over the place unless you have a very large mouthed glass (need a tighter shoot for ice) Ice/water dispenser switch/indent should be made from a non-water staining material... constant cleaning.

Great looks, but has some quirks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ice machine does not produce enough ice quickly enough for any type of gathering requiring ice in everyone's drink. So beware! It is also slow to produce ice, takes a full day to fill up the door. So if you fill up the tub in the freezer manually from the door, you will be waiting all day for a fill up again.
Water receptacle drips excessively after filling a glass with water.
Bottom drawer in refrigerator requires the opening of both French doors to get into it.
For as much as the beast costs it should not be designed this way.

Great Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research before I bought this refrigerator and I read a lot of reviews. Basically, I felt that buying a refrigerator was like rolling a set of dice. However, I am pleased with this refrigerator. It has a lot of amenities that I wanted like a special water filter, air filter, hot and cold water/ice dispenser, vegetable/fruit drawers, etc. This refrigerator runs quietly too. I believe the bottom drawer in the refrigerator could have been 2 drawers instead, so only 1 door has to be opened. Overall, I would recommend it, if you are looking for a large capacity refrigerator.
Note: there are only 2 people in my household so the ice maker is not a problem for me. I do agree with one reviewer that the ice spits out in every direction.

Refrigerator of the Year 2013!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE Café French Door refrigerator was featured at the 2013 CES and in my opinion all the great reviews were accurate! LG and Samsung refrigerators will finally have some serious competition from an American manufacturer.
The most innovative feature is the hot water dispenser on the door. It works but I wished that it can dispense hot water faster.
Bright LED lights (clear and colored) illuminate a roomy interior. Although, I think that the GE designers should enlarge the upper part some more and reduce the freezer space.
You can also store about 90 JPEG photos by using a USB port for the slide show on your door. We have more than enough ice for a family of five but every family will be different.
It also uses one the best water filtration systems to deliver great tasting water and ice.

General Electric can be proud of this product and hopefully continue to innovate and improve American made products!

We bought this refrigerator a month ago. My first French-door refrigerator after decades of side-by-sides. The largest refrigerator I have ever owned and the best thought out as far as inner compartments. I love the features, especially the on door features. Precise measure is a wonderful convenience and hot water without a boiling hot mug is terrific. The freezer is massive and well-organized. and it's stunningly beautiful. I visit it several times a day just to say hi!

The shelves are easy to move about to accommodate the bottles and cans, I am pleased with the below freezer and really like the water dispenser. The price might be a little steep for most consumers but it is well worth the satisfaction.
