I love my GE CAFE kitchen

I love all of my GE CAFE appliances but this refrigerator is awesome! I especially like the LINED extra wide in-door storage bins. Not only are they easy to clean these storage bins hold a lot of assorted bottles and jars; no matter what the size! The ice and water dispensers work great and I love the little extra shelf you can pull out that will easily accommodate a water or ice tea pitcher. The hot water dispenser is really neat but do me careful when using it. The water gets very hot.
The only reason I give his product 4 stars instead of 5 is the plastic used to protect the finish is put in place under gaskets and trim making it very difficult to remove. It took several hours to remove because the plastic doesn't always tear off where it should.
I would still buy this refrigerator, again! You definitely get what you pay for. GE also back their products and has a wonderful customer service department!

We bought this refrigerator with lot of expectations and it met nearly all except that ice crusher can be more fast and should little fine crush.

1. I think the auto fill should be available on this model. The precise fill just takes to long for me.
2. The sound of the doors closing is much to loud.
Other then those items his is great unit. I really love the L.E.D. lighting system.

Great Fridge but a lot wider then expected

Maybe its my own ignorance but the width of the fridge with the doors open is a lot bigger and really dent fit in our kitchen. But we made it work because we love everything else about it. Especially the hot water dispenser.

I bought thus shiny neat fridge and spent days figuring out its features like the drawer you can set for dairy, etc and the light changes cord to let you know what the setting is. It the twin drawers which can be used both for fruit or veggies or one if each. Or the sliding disappearing shelf so you can store tall items or the drop down butter type box on the door that I still haven't found uses for. And the computer on the door and hot and cold water and photo album that my seven year old grandson showed how to upload pix. But I love the odor remover and other stuff. But mostly I live it was made in the USA by real NOT UNION. Yea for us!!!

The Cafe refrigerator is entirely too small. Both doors have to be opened to acess anything.

Only one small shortcoming

Only a few months old but overall we are very pleased with this unit. The one disappointment was from the feature for which we chose it over the Profile.
The hot water dispenser is a great idea and would be a huge advantage over other refrigerators had it been implemented better. It has 2 fatal flaws that make it completely useless for the most part.
The most important problem is that it takes AT LEAST 5 or 6 minutes to heat the water. You can literally boil a teapot of water in far less time than this refrigerator can heat the wee 8 oz. that is its capacity (we tested it). It is ridiculous how long it takes.
The second is mentioned above - after waiting for way too long, you get only 8 oz. of hot water. Then you have to wait all that time again.
It really is useless when you can do a whole pot easier and faster. Huge disappointment. The rest is great so far. Nice capacity and some pretty cool other features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

There is a ton of room in this refridgerator. It is a little noisy, but not to the point of being a nuisance. I would defininitely recommend this product
