Outstanding Fridge

I just bought our new GE Cafe Series Fridge to replace our 20-year old GE Fridge. It has been a few days now that we have it and we are so please with it so far. I haven't experienced the CONS that others experiencing with their new GE Cafe Series Fridge. Ours is much quieter than the old one (note to everyone that every machine makes noise, the older they get, the louder you can hear them like your automobile or new air conditioning unit), furthermore, the ice machine (after 12-hr of installation) and hot water are working properly as they should be. We bought our Fridge from a local appliances store, delivered and installed. Of course, during the delivery, the left side door had to be taken apart to fit through our door, that's no problem and put back to proper position. Overall and so far, this Cafe Series Model is superior and perfect for our needs in the days to come. Hopefully, it will last and longer as the previous 20-year old GE Fridge.

After having SIX refrigerators delivered (all had some degree if insulation exposed at door hinge; and a few had dings in either the side or the actual stainless steel), we are happy with our appliance. Love the look, the space and storage features. Much better than our side by side and the stainless brightens the space that was previously held by a black appliance. Would recommend with the warning to be patient. It is a bit noisier than I would like. Used to complain that the dishwasher was an issue ... we got new GE Profile dishwasher at the same time ... and it is so quiet you don't even know when it is on.

I bought this for our office an it is a great refrigerator. Lots of space, multiple compartments, and a big freezer. We are very happy with it. Understand it has a couple of shortcomings however: 1. The water that is dispensed is not cold, it is normal tap water; 2. Because of #1 we use a lot of ice and the ice maker cannot keep up with daily consumption.

Love to have the double doors, seperate temperature zones and freezer on the bottom. Very spacious. Ice dispensor gets a little wild but have learned how to keep the ice from flying.

Looks great, tones of space. I need to calibrate the Precise Fill, because it is not accurate. The hot water feature comes in handy, especially in the winter. This is the same thing I've said about all fridges, but the inside components, shelves and whatnot, always seem way to cheap for the amount of money you've spent.
