I bought this product in April, 2014. Product had a variety of weird, annoying noises , during the day and night hours. GE installed a noise reduction package that reduced the noise levels considerably to an acceptable but still somewhat annoying level. I was disappointed to find after delivery and installation, that this model only has a 1 year warranty on the complete unit, including the sealed compressor assembly. However, the Profile model has a 5 year warranty on the complete sealed compressor system. Why? I assumed both models had the same cooling system. Had I known this I would have bought the Profile Model. This concerned me about the long term reliability of the Cafe' cooling system. I have no choice but to buy an extended warranty from GE. I would recommend this product to a friend only if they accept the warranty terms before buying.

Good interior lighting however with the ice cube, water outside left door interior limited in size. lOVE the hot water feature for tea! I have a s,aller version at my other residence like this one waaay better

Less than that a week into owning my new GE Cafe I am very happy with its performance and the price I paid. Very attractive, functional and made in the U.S.A!

Had now for 4 months and all is working well. It is a little noisy but nothing to complain about. DO NOT like the shelves. You must remove one if you want to fit a bottle of soda to fit upright. Must open both doors to access big drawer. Ice doesn't hold a lot but makes it quickly.
