Iron Man took theaters by storm when it was released and I was truly impressed on opening weekend. The combination of Robert Disney Jr. As Tony Stark, the incredible effects, and compelling story of a mans transformation into a hero made this one of the best super hero movies of all time.
The picture and audio quality on the Blu-Ray disc are top notch. Being a one disc release the extras are lacking compared to the 2 disc. Overall, Iron Man is a highly recommended spectacle that needs to be seen.

Robert Downey Jr. is the best actor you could ask for to play Iron Man, and this movie shows it. Great plot, characters, actors, and special effects. It's a must see!

This movie tells the origin story of Marvel's Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. delivers an electrifying performance as Tony Stark/Iron Man. This movie is the 1st movie in the epic Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 1. this Blu-ray delivers picture perfect video quality and sound. I highly recommend this Marvel Masterpiece....a must own!

The epitome of a great superhero movie

It's hard to remember now that, when Iron Man was made, it was considered a huge risk by Marvel studios. Iron Man was a 2nd-3rd tier character, Robert Downey Jr. had well-publicized personal problems and Jon Favreau was not a well-established director.
What they delivered was a superhero movie that was not weighed down by itself or the need to seem grandiose. They established very simple goals and knocked them out of the park.

What's not so great: Not as dark as some prefer
