I got thees on Thuresday, and i love them. they get so loud.I think they are great HP speakers.

As advertized and reviewed: no surprises. Great price too.
What's great about it: Small, portable, plug 'n play, transferable from desktop to laptop, stereo capability
What's not so great: No base/treble controls

use it just for web noise, not for games or real music listening - does job if you aren't flooking for power and clarity
What's great about it: easy to set up, good price, good looking
What's not so great: low price low bang for your buck

Nice for it's size

Gave this as a gift to my sister, and she loves it. In her room, this speakers sound better than her boombox radio. I would get me one, but i All ready have speakers for my labtop. There from Creative and they sound way better, but it cost me $80 extra, they still sound great, have them for about 3 years now. But if they go out, This HP speakers will be on my to get list.
What's great about it: the price and the sound.
What's not so great: gave it as a gift.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I took them right out of the box and hooked them up. They sound great and look nice on my desk.
What's great about it: It was quick to set up and sounds great
