I have had this microwave for almost 6 months so far and it has performed flawlessly! I love the bottom location of the control panel and it looks like it cost a whole lot more! I cannot think of one complaint except double check the dimensions before installing as this is slightly taller than most microwaves and if you have a back splash that fits snug under your current one....it may need to be trimmed.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, looks great
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not only is this a very attractive appliance, but it's features are superb and the quality is very good. If I could change one feature, I would backlight the control panel so it could be easily seen in a dark kitchen. Other than that, a fantastic oven!
Pros: Durable

Microwave works fine. Looks great with other Samsung appliances I purchased when I remodeled my kitchen.

I have to cook my potatoes 2 minutes longer than I used to with my old microwave. The quick menus are awful. I have to push 1 to see what it is for, then cancel all the way out to see what 2 is for, then cancel out... The vent that sucks the steam up isn't strong at all, no matter how much power you set it on. I hate using this microwave. The door is clanky and I almost need 2 arms at times to open it. DONT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!!!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

New model But....

Had this new model for 6 weeks now and notice the following; The fan shuts off or will drop to low run #1 when you turn the cooking on. Strange, no other unit I have had in the past 25 years has ever done this. The controls are difficult to read and operate (glairing) even with the great lighting that we have in our modern kitchen (pot type lighting with LED flood and LED spot lighting) this has a somewhat goldest/silver background with black lettering They should have had lights behind the control words. The older model has a black background with white lettering. The air flow venting fan to exchase outside, blows air out on the sides of the unit. It was installed professionally, correctly and I watch him.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent product, well designed and our only complaint is that labels are somewhat hard to see and could use more contrast.

Impossible to read buttons

I made the mistake of getting the latest model, without having actually seeing it, since i didn't want the floor model. At the time the floor model had black buttons with white lettering. This model has silver buttons with black letters. With the reflection on the buttons, the lettering is indecipherable. I need my reading glasses and a flash light to make a selection.
I keep looking for the backlight on the buttons, but there isn't one.
Now I'm stuck with something I can't enjoy. With any luck it will break within a short time and i can get a better microwave.

Yes, I love the design and the product itself is ok, however, in less than two years, and used in a family of two, it begun to trips the electrical power. Unfortunately I didn't get the warranty, but it should have lasted longer. No, I would not buy this product again.
