Lousy company

This unit was installed in a new unsold condominium. The condo was first sold due to this recession more than two years after the unit was put into service. The unit was first put into service a few days before the first buyers settlement . The solenoid valve had a slow leak that cause the tub to over flow. Even though the unit had never been used, its shipping blue plastic and stickers were still on it, Electrolux would not honor the warranty. I consider myself as builder a middleman and the buyer the end used. The warranty all GE appliances installed in new construction, begins when the first buyer goes to settlement. Frigidaire/ Electrolux starts the warranty when the builder buys the unit. I will never buy another Electrolux product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this 9.5 years ago. It has never failed this family of 2. Until 2weeks ago. I’m sure that it’s a pump or motor problem, an easy inexpensive fix. Great longevity for the price.

Great basic dishwasher

If your goal is to have clean dishes for a reasonable price, without spending hundreds on bells, whistles and fluff, then this is the machine for you. Works great for a single person or couple who don't run the machine 5 times per day, every day of the week.

This dishwasher was installed in our home when we purchased it. We have never had a dishwasher and were glad to try it out for the first time with a huge Thanksgiving dinner. It had a long cycle, but who cares when something is doing work for you?! The dishes came out clean. We had some water spotting due to our hard water. We need to filter the water or use clear rinse, and maybe use the heat dryer for adverse conditions as these.

Very nice dishwasher. Features found are the same as much more expensive washers. Runs quietly, and cleans dishes without pre-wash/rinse.
