I wasn't sure about this lens at first but once I had a chance to play around with it I saw just how useful it could be. There's no more, "OK, everyone get in close for the picture." Obviously it's amazing for landscapes as well. Pictures are tack sharp. I'm looking forward to make photographic experiments!

I'm really happy with this lens. I bought it to use on my Cannon EOS Rebel SL1 to take portraits and shoot architecture when I'm traveling. So far it's been great - the images are sharp and it takes up almost not space in my bag.

Tiny, unobstrusive and SHARP !

This lives on my Rebel SL1, as if it was designed just for it. The 42mm or so equivalent coverage is a great companion to the EF 40mm f 2.8 I use on my full-frame Canon. I am finding it very sharp, even at f 11.
The slight barrel distortion is seldom troubling, as I can fix it with any of several 24mm settings that Adobe LightRoom offers.A later version of LR will probably hit that sweet setting dead-on.

I just received this 24mm lens this week, it is incredible! I love prime lenses and this is a perfect wide angle length. The 2.8 aperture gives a beautiful and soft bokeh. This is my new go-to lens! I shoot mostly families, portraits, and weddings and can't wait to put this to use!
