I'M A BIG FAN OF THE DIVA. HOWEVER THIS CD IS NO GOOD, THERE A LEAST 3 SONGS THAT I LIKE ON THE ENTIRE CD. I THINK BEYONCE WAS TRYING TO HARD TO BE DIFFERENT.
What's great about it: DIFFERENT
What's not so great: WRITING OF SONGS
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It takes a lot as an established artist to venture from your comfort zone and try something new. I think B did it with style. The woman has skills...kudos to you, B!

beyonce is doing great at this age..this cd shows that she is still yOung and out there...
she shows her serious side for the older crowd and her playful side with single ladies for the younger crowd..
beyonce hunii you did your thing...
What's great about it: beyonce is doing her own thing and not letting anyone bring her down

This album must be to crossover. Only problem is, where she trying to crossover to, Elevator music -r-us? This album does not stand up to her previous two and does not deliver in any capacity. There are 16 songs, with maybe 2 or 3 that are worth a second listen. This album is the worst to drop on Nov. 18. I guess all the greats get to put out atleast one dud. I wish I could have my money back. I love Beyonce despite her weak 3rd effort. Just buy the cheaper version if you cant burn it.
What's great about it: The Single Ladies video (Video not on album)
What's not so great: 14 out of 16 tracks..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ave Maria, and If I were a Boy are great songs. The rest aren't memorable, but overall I like that album it's easy to listen too, not all the songs sound the same which is good. The bonus songs in the deluxe edition is worth the extra costs.
What's great about it: disc one has about 4 out of 8 good songs on it
What's not so great: disc two has only 1 song that i like on it
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are looking for a totally different sound from Beyonce, then you should buy this album. I love her first CD and Bday, but I am not too sure about this one. I have tried to listen to get used to the songs, but it is just way too off. I like that she is trying new things but I really wish I was warned. I love B, but would not recommend this CD.
What's great about it: 3 songs
What's not so great: all the other songs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this C.D. I am a Beyonce fan and my expectations are always high and as usual this C.D. exceeded my expectations. The deluxe version is well worth the extra money! I have listened to this C.D. front to back numerous times. A must add to any CD collection.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing

Beyonce is great. This cd shows just how wonderful and talented she really is. i'm a huge Beyonce fan since Destiny's Child I have every cd and i love the fact that she's open to new music and ideas. It's not the same old sound. Beyonce is doing her thang and doing it well. So for all you haters holla back. Don't be mad cause she' a "Diva". I like DIVA, SWEET DREAMS, and HELLO IS MY FAVORITE.
What's great about it: Different. She's doing her own thing.
What's not so great: Not a Thing
