Great freezer, but a little loud

We bought this freezer because we had specific size requirements and we like the features especially the fact that it is frostless. The only thing we are disappointed about is even though it is really energy efficient, it still runs 90% of the time and it's pretty loud.

Well, it is a freezer that so far has been true to its word of keeping the food frozen indeed. I will reserve judgement for a few years down the road until after e warranty has expired on it and see if it is still holding up to make a final decision. Back in the olden days these thing were supposed to last 50 or more years. With the built in modern day electronics, we will see just how long it will last.....

Getting the job done

I wanted a smaller freezer, after leaving behind a large GE that performed well for more than 15 years, but it's size encouraged me to buy large quantities of stuff and then forget them (result: freezer burn). It has a simple but effective lock which seems to be indestructible, and plenty of shelf space - with enough areas that I can segregate different types of food and see my inventory at a glance.

Just couple days in use, liked the rigid construction and clean fine details, loud sound from the compressor and the fan but this is something normal for such appliances. the controls on the door and the temperature inside are amazing. Thank you GE

Great freezer

New freezer replaces a manual defrost that did not have a light. Now I have a light, a roll out basket and it defrosts all by itself. Has not increased my electric bill by much.
