Where is "The Blues"???

Several people have commented that The Blues is one of the strongest of the new tunes, but I don't see it on the tracklisting. Am I missing something? I have streamed several of the songs online over the past few years and have to say that The Blues has been one of my favorites. I am still looking forward to buying this CD and believe that the songs included will be classics. I'm just a little disappointed that The Blues does not appear to be included in the group.
What's great about it: Most everything I have heard is SOLID
What's not so great: No "The Blues"?

A wide and varied tracklisting with sweeping arrangements and painstakingly crafted tunes. Really, truly, amazing... This could be the album that turns around modern rock and gets it out of the weak recycled state its been in for the better part of a decade or more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Words cannot express how excited I am to hear this cd in it's entirety. I like what I've already heard. 11/25/08 cannot get here fast enough!
What's great about it: It's finally coming out!
What's not so great: Should have been a double disc!

will be worth buying

more then half the songs ive heard from this are very good, and im excitted to hear the others. i wish "if the world" and "street of dreams" (formally The Blues) was not on it, and "oh my god" was on it. some say this should be an axl rose album, not guns n roses. the reality is that so many bands from the past doing stuff now adays is not the original. pink floyd, only one remaning original member, as david gilmour was not an original member, wright just died, syd was out of the band decades ago to open a spot for gilmour, and waters is no longer a member, but if those to still in pink floyd put something out it would be pink floyd and it would be bought in the millions. smashing pumpkins is only corgan and chamberlin, still records and tours as smashing pumpkins. led zepplin, people want them to tour and record, but its not the original, same with the rolling stones, and alice in chains, and dont even get me started with the doors and queen. its become a popular trend to have line up changes and still call it the original name. better is awesome, and so is the tittle track. riad is really good, and i hope the demo of madagascar isnt what will be on the album cuz axl changed his voice in the recording and changed the song from my favorit on this album to one of my least favorits. the balled either "this i love" is sure to b a high charted and possibly award winnig song. i havent heard "shacklers revenge" but i have heard a lot of good things about it. "there was a time" is another good song. its worth buying, nothing is worth a 17 year wait, but axl rose is the only one in the world that could pull this off.
What's great about it: most the songs are very good
What's not so great: no slash

I have been waiting for this since the release of THE SPAGHETTI INCIDENT - which I did like very much. Although I have heard a majority of the tunes from the album and seen 3 different versions of the new lineup in concert (2001-vegas, 2002-columbus, 2006-cleveland) I am still eagerly awaiting the album.
Fans of the classic GNR that have not followed the concerts or internet leaks in the past 10 years will probably not be very happy but I still believe when it is all heard as one piece it will be an amazing accomplishment.
What's great about it: Axl is finally letting his baby out of the house for the world to see
What's not so great: Classic fans may be turned off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Axl Rose is a genius and anyone who takes the time to write a negative review even before the CD comes out shows that you are not a true fan and never will be.
If one is a music lover then one appreciates all music. Good music is good music!
Be appreciative that you are alive to witness one of the most brilliant minds and band in history.

Guns N Roses the best Rock Band

I've been listening to Guns N Roses since 1987 when I was 14 years old. I love them. Even with the departure of the original band, Axl has prevailed nicely. I like Velvet Revolver too, but a new sound is good. Change is good. I've heard most of the new songs on the NewGNR website and the music is phenomenal. I've seen concert footage and it is freaking awesome. Axl brings perfection to the band and the new band members are fantastic musicians. I check the Best Buy Site everyday so I can order the album to add to my other 5 CD's that have been waiting for like 14 years for Chinese Democracy. Axl was my idol as a teenager. Guns new or old in my opinion is better than the Beatles. If the old band ever united though it would be the biggest thing in the world. Chinese Democracy is going to be the biggest rock album in many years and years to come. Check out GNR live at the RItz in NY in 1988. THat's one of my favorite concerts ever. So is the new GNR rock am 2006. I'm going crazy waiting for this album. I check GNR website everyday, haven't seen anything on there yet.
What's great about it: Superb
What's not so great: none
