this whole entire band rocks they truly are the best of the best guns n roses = the best of the best guns n roses is and always will be the best of the best
What's great about it: this album is full of classic GNR songs

Best GN'R album

Honestly, I think this is the GN'R album with more EPIC songs:
Street of Dreams, There Was a Time, Catcher in the Rye, Madagascar, This I Love and Prost...
All of them are amaizing songs with great singing and impresive guitar solos...
There are also great commercial songs like Better or Shacker's Revenge.
I bought my copy for just $9.99... so I'm so happy with this music... and the this new lineup is composed by grat musicians! Just listen to any Bumblefoot or buckethead CD and you can see.
What's great about it: A lot of EPIC songs, Axl voice and guitars players
What's not so great: Only 14 songs
I would recommend this to a friend!

Axl Rose is back and you will not be disappointed. This CD has many great tracks. He sounds alot like he did back in 90's, he can definatley sing. If you are a GNR fan you will really enjoy this long awaited CD. It is definately worth the purchase. Lets just hope they put out some more CDs and start touring again!
What's great about it: Axl Rose
What's not so great: Nothing

good album, even though it's not appetite. it's a bit more in the vein of use your illusion, but with a newer digi flavor.

Well Worth the Wait

Many have said that it's not "Guns N Roses" without the other, older members. I say that this is nonsense.
This album proves that Axl was the driving force behind the music all along. To me, this CD is as good--or better--than the older ones.
It is multi-layered, deep, and unique. The vocals, lyrics, and guitar work are second-to-none, and its replay value is amazingly high.
With so much commercialized rock out there, this disc is a breath of fresh air.
It was well worth the wait and completely legitimizes the "new" version of GnR.
Kudos to Axl on his work.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: A lot of the other CDs in my collection aren't seeing any play time
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am a 70 year old huge fan and waited patiently for this CD while playing the old ones still. I love Axl and still have a poster of him in his red,white & blue little shorts and gorgeous red hair - though I do not like the braids. Back to the CD, as everyone else at first I was expecting to go back in time for the sounds of November Rain, Paradise City etc. but after listening to it twice I found that I loved the new sounds especially This I love , Prost. and Better. Welcome back guys.
What's great about it: GNR is back
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has there ever been a more anticipated album ever? All of the songs I've heard have been amazing. An album like this may come along once ina lifetime. I'm stunned by what I've heard so far.

Best album in a very long time

I've heard 90% of the songs on this album and didn't hear one that I don't like. All the people that are giving this record low ratings are stuck in the past and want to hear Appetitie for Destruction pt 2. It's not 1987 so that's not going to happen!!! It is 2008 and this record is awsome, listen to it with an open mind and you'll love it. Who cares about the band name or how long it has taken to put out. This record is Axl's vision, he owns the rights to the band name, so can do whatever he wants with it. The record is out, it doesn't sound like anything else out, and that is a very good thing. This record will bring rock n' roll back to where it should be.
What's great about it: Axl Rose is back and can sing better than ever
I would recommend this to a friend!
