Axl Rose has created a masterpiece. On these 14 tracks he tells a story that the world has been dying to hear. This album contains 2, 180 gram records, which means that they are thick and heavy and will stand the test of time along with the music recorded on them. The album is incredible from start to finish. Everyone needs to hear this album. At first it is just good. But after multiple listens, the songs take hold and then they are impossible to forget. Do yourself a favor and get this album. Axl Rose is the last Rock Star. We may never hear music like this ever again. Don't miss out on this peice of history.
What's great about it: It's Guns N' Roses
What's not so great: The entire world has not experienced this yet.

I have listened to this album several times. At first I was not thrilled with a few songs...Sorry, If The World, and There Was a Time were not on the top of my list..but after a few listens all of these songs are awesome. Axl's voice sounds great and these are amazing. If you like rock n roll and guns n roses then this album will not disappoint. These songs will be played in my regular rotation for years to come and that itself is worth a 15 year wait.
What's great about it: IT GETS BETTER AND BETTER WITH EVERY LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Magazine reviews said this would suck. i went out and bought the album and not only were the songs great but the for an album it sounds really good. Plus you can get free downloads for the entire album so you can burn it to a CD too.
What's great about it: Extra Mp3 downlaod
What's not so great: nothing

Takes a few listens to digest the intense layers of music, but absolute genius overall. Record of the Year!!!! Ground breaking for GNR, can't say enough great things about it.

This is a step in the right direction! Now if we can get the rest of the 80`s rockers back, We would fix rock music!
Kidding aside, Just a terrific album, I imagine a live show by GNR may lack a little chemistry but the sound is there!

This is the best album out this year.
I have purchased the CDs for stocking stuffers for many family members. I bought the CD and LP for myself.
The music here is deep, multi-layered, and excellent. The vocals, guitar work, and lyrics are far beyond those that you can find on ANY other album out there right now.
This is a unique and powerful work of art--it is a masterpiece.
Note: The LP makes for an excellent show-piece / collectible, as well.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Many of my other albums are no longer worth listening to

the swift kick rock n roll needs!

since the day i heard a chinese democracy leak i have been hooked. Better is a really cool tune. i love the chorus in shacklers revenge and the title track chinese democracy has a nice layering of Axls deep voice and high pitch voice. I cant wait to buy the album. iv heard it starts off with a blood curdling scream. i guarantee from the second that scream hits your ears to the last note of final track you will be amazed
What's great about it: Axls voice is still amazing after all these years.

This album is a masterpiece. the song "Better" was an instant hit in my book the first time I listened to it. "I.R.S." , "There Was a Time" and the title track "Chinese Democracy" also great songs and became favorites very quickly. The rest of the album had to grow on me but soon I loved every song on this album. Chinese Democracy is the Appetite for Destruction of today.
What's great about it: well written all the way around from lyrics to music
What's not so great: took to long to release
